Great Southern diner style food. Went several times, all tastes and looks like made from scratch the moment you order it. Easy dinner with kids. Super friendly staff. Great local beer on tap (from Red Collar Brewing).
- Fried chicken (Butter & Honey): Delicious, as it should be, great crunch.
- Fried chicken (Nashville Hot): Delicious, packs a punch of very nice heat. Ask for dips if you're into that, they offer a variety if you ask.
- Burgers: very tasty, juicy, double burger is solid. Triple is a beast.
- Onion Rings: Awesome, even if a bit pricey. But worth it.
- Tacos, 3 kinds: Beef, chicken, fried avocado. Personal favourites are chicken taco and fried avocado taco. I'd recommend getting two chicken tacos and one avocado taco for a satisfying dinner.
- Fries: Hand cut, skinnies, very nice. I'm not a fries fan, but these are very tasty.
- Service: Super nice. Always checking in if everything is alright, and open to suggestions. No ego, very friendly.
One of those places we'd love to see here to stay. Perfect meal after a swim / workout at TCC or for an easy dinner with blast from the past movies from our childhood. (Like Flipper dubbed in german...ha! Awesome.)
Lucky’s is the best place in Kamloops!! We love it and take all our visitors here. We have tried everything on the menu and never been disappointed. There is even pinball machines and pac man!! The owners are great and the staff call you by name (well if you go as much as us). It is great for all ages. I can’t say enough good things about the place, the beer is always cold.
A quaint little restaurant with tons of personality. It's got table top arcade machines, a few pinball machines and anime playing on the TV's.
But the food is great! Burgers, unique burritos and a kids menu that is all fairly priced and prepared well. Even though it's diner style food, it wasn't that greasy, and service was friendly and fast. The bathrooms are quite clean as well.
Parking is plentiful, maximum of three hours if you shop at the complex. All in all a great place for the family to eat while stopping over in Kamloops.
Neat little joint, friendly, polite service.
Had a soft taco trio which was different but good. Fries were pretty mediocre.
Would definitely go again to try some of the other menu items
This place is amazing.
It's a quirky hole-in-the-wall, with amazing food and an atmosphere to kill for. Playing old fashioned movies on the T.V, with art of all kinds plastered on the walls, two player arcade tables, and a few pinball machines, Lucky's is a real hidden gem.
The menu has the best of all kinds of bar foods, great tacos, wings, fries, and an amazing Veggie burger.
The $10 steak and fries has to be my favourite so far.
Lucky's is the kind of place you want to come back to every week with your best friends.
Been here many times and have always had a good experience. Great burgers and fried chicken, tasty in-house cut fries and reasonable food-to-price ratios. The retro vibe of the place is also great. There is always a classic show or movie playing on the televisions and some timeless music in the background to enjoy. My girlfriend and I always have a blast playing the pinball machines while waiting for our dinner. The staff are very friendly as well.
Pretty good pub food, has craft beer, service was good, pinball machines are fun.
