Great find, this place is awesome! Recommended to me by a colleague, it has the relaxed vibe of a kitsilano hipster cafe with gourmet inspired eats and wall taps of craft brews- and definitely had the best quesadilla I've ever tried. Highly recommend it :)
I love Red Beard. Food is creative and excellent. Yesterday's breakfast will become a new make at home breakfast for me, although I'll still be going back to RB for more. Fun place, great staff, excellent food. It doesn't get much better than this. Unless I was a beer drinker. Then it might be even better.
The flatbread with goat cheese, tomato and arugula was a very tasty, healthy and light lunch. The coffee stout is amazing- you have to try that. It's a counter service. The establishment is dog friendly.
Omg best mochas no joke they have their foam down pat. Starbucks you are obsolete. These guys rule. Great customer service and great environment.
Great coffee. Great atmosphere. Great staff. Fun and kitchey place worth a visit. Don't order the nachos as they are just made with cheap processed cheese and are overpriced.
This place was only recently discovered by me, but I wish I had known about it sooner! The atmosphere is fantastic and usually lively with many people enjoying their coffee and snacks. Their chai lattes and fresh-baked cookies are to die for, and they have a large patio so you can enjoy your lattes and cookies in the fresh air. They serve more than just cafe comestibles however: they have a number of craft beers on tap as well as share plates and salads. The staff members are all extremely friendly and funny, so definitely chat them up while you're there!

Hipsterific. This understated, suave coffeehouse is a sight for sore eyes on Kamloops' dilapidated Tranquille Road. Fighting it at first, I eventually caved and stopped in for a latte.
...I never looked back.
I think Redbeard's awesomeness has almost done more harm that good (for me) in some ways, because even though I work at one of the world's most popular coffee chains, I can't drink coffee there after tasting Redbeard.
Freshly roasted coffee permeates your senses and the sound of an old fashioned grinder and espresso machine suck you in, but the warm of the staff and the passion the owner Nate (Red Beard himself) has for coffee is what will keep you coming back!
Finally good coffee in Kamloops!. I liked Motivo but never really loved it. Red beard is so much better. They make a mean latte and I'm a big fan of the syrups they use. They are delicious and flavourful, not sickeningly sweet or fake tasting like most brands. The food is delicious as well, and both are reasonably priced. Best of all, the service is great! I'm only in for a few minutes a few times a week but they always remember me and are quick and efficient. So glad there's now a good reliable cup of coffee in town!
