We ordered a 1/4 slab lemon cream cake this weekend. The lightness and flavor was just incredible. For only $45 and on short notice, this cake fed my group a very generous portion each, with leftovers to boot. So happy we ordered here.
The macarons are fresh and delicious. I sampled all the best macaron shops in Hamilton and Burlington, and this place was the best by far. I bought a macaron tower for my wedding, which was gone within 10 minutes. The guests were raving about them at the reception. Also my 8 year old nephew has requested a macaron tower instead of a birthday cake this year as a result :)
LOVE JC Patissier! I've had their coffee, crepes, cheesecake, pastries-- all are very delicious. The owners are very kind, their passion is evident in the food and service. Always an amazing experience.
Best desserts, and delightful staff. I could eat their desserts for breakfast, lunch, and dins...a hidden Hamilton gem. Incredibly friendly staff. It's really cosy inside too.
Good place for dessert and coffee in Thorold downtown. They have comfortable indoor and outdoor seats, friendly staff and good food. Free street parking as well.

Cheesecake was not too sweet and cookies are soft. Would love to try their other pastries and crepes.
A pleasant surprise. A quaint cafe with a charming atmosphere. Staff is excellent and kind. Service is exceptional. As for the food, OMG! So fresh and tasty. One bite and the flavours explode! The prices are excellent for first grade pastries. I Can’t wait to go back.
Second experience with JC Patissier. Ordered a birthday cake last month and it was absolutely delicious. Today we tried the Coffee Cheesecake, a Crepe, Smoothie and Cappuccino. Food was delicious!! A must try. Owners are wonderful and patient and polite
This place has variety of delicious pastries, desserts and coffee, very clean, nice music, and excellent customer service. There is outside seating area and free parking in the front. The bakery also has a bathroom.
My dad and I went to JC Patisserie and the food was amazing!!! Yasmine our server was very friendly and personable! The lime cheesecake with rich and smooth with a crunchy crust! The galette has a lite flakey pastry dough and was so flavorful! The spinach ricotta crepe was nice and buttery with lots of cheese. Thank you for the amazing time! I can’t wait to go back with all my friends here.
My 1st experience was last Saturday when I went in to see what they had. I went in at 4 pm, & they were all sold out of pastries. I went back yesterday (Tuesday) at 3 pm and they had a good selection. However, the best experience was in meeting talking with owner, Juan. He's so nice to talk to and extremely accommodating. I love Dobosh Torte & he said he could make it for me, just need to call ahead, in fact he can basically bake anything I want, just need to call ahead. I asked if he made strawberry tart, & he said he had a combination of strawberry & rhubarb. He asked if I wanted one made up now, to which I said "definitely". The pastry was creamy, the strawberry toppings were fresh & sweet. Best tart I ever had.
I went to this place only 2 days prior to needing a birthday cake. I told them I needed a safari themed cake but my ideas were limited. They told me to leave it up to them. Came back on Saturday to see this great looking cake!
I was here a couple of weeks ago with my mom for lunch. We both had a crepe & it was amazing. We were so happy with the friendly staff & wonderful service. We couldn't leave without taking home some pastries for later & they didn't disappoint. This is a lovely little cafe in Thorold & I would definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area.
