A great addition to life in Halifax. Wonderful place to go for coffee and a croissant--the best I've had outside of France...and as good as any I've had there! Also like the mini-baguette with raspberry jam and butter. The coffee is also excellent and in nice big cups. And when your leaving, take along some of their excellent baked goods, all in the French mode. Service is efficient and pleasant, and the fact that one park without too much difficulty near by is also a definite plus. My go-to coffee shop these days and a place to which I've taken lots of friends, all of whom like it. You can also have lunch there now.

Very nice French bakery. The Zaatar croissant was very nice. Interesting choice for breakfast, I would have tried so many things. Unfortunately they didn’t have any oat milk left but I enjoyed the almond milk turmeric latte I tried. Staff was very friendly. Bread is delicious. Go early if you want to make sure to grab some.

It’s my first time to dine here. This apple nest is tasty and not too sweet. The price is reasonable.

I recently visited LF Bakery, a quaint and hipster pastry shop, and I had an amazing experience. As an authentic French patisserie, their chocolate croissants stole my heart. The taste and quality of their pastries were exceptional, easily earning a 10/10 rating. During my first visit, there was minimal presentation (nearly sold out!), but the staff kindly suggested returning early in the morning for a more enticing display. I took their advice and was blown away by the incredible and mouth-watering presentation on my second visit. The customer service at LF Bakery was top-notch. The staff was friendly, provided fast service, and were always ready to offer helpful suggestions. While the pastries at LF Bakery were typically French, their quality and attention to detail set them apart from any other bakery in the area. In addition to the delectable pastries, LF Bakery also offers a variety of cafe options such as; tea, coffee, and lattes. This added variety enhances the overall experience. Speaking of the overall experience, I found the prices at LF Bakery to be great value for the quality and taste they deliver. It's like experiencing the best of France or Montreal without the need for an expensive trip. Just close your eyes while you bite into their goods and you’re there! I wholeheartedly recommend LF Bakery to anyone who appreciates fine pastries. From the warm and inviting ambiance to the exceptional taste and service, LF Bakery is a gem worth visiting. Indulge in their chocolate croissants, and you'll understand why this bakery has become my go-to spot for French pastries in the HRM. Bon appétit à tous! Merci Laurent d’avoir déménagé ici et d’avoir partagé ta cuisine ici à Halifax!

My experience was 5 star. The staff was very accommodating. The selections were wonderful, so I proceeded to get several for my morning breakfast. The pecan maple pastries mini-pie, the blueberry beignet, and the apple tarte. Awesome! Coffee was delicious! Enjoyed the experience on the outside deck patio. They sell out early everyday. Highly recommend. I ate everyone of the items by myself while at LF.

Nice bakery with various things to try. I didn't enjoy blueberry tart but almond, chocolate croissants were crispy and delicious. You gotta to adjust coffee yourself with milk, cream, sugar there to your own taste and veg.milk is not extra charged - big plus. There are few places to sit, just around 6 tables and the place it pretty plain itself, so don't expect to have a nice view or nice photos, it is a place which won't please esthetic souls. I wish ladies room was more accessible to wash hands before your meal, but it is locked and you gotta take the key at the checkout, that's weird.

You know LF is special when there is a line up outside their door on Saturday morning @ 8 am in -9 weather with cold wind. I got Almond Croissant, Custard Tart, and a Chocolate Tart ......all heavenly. Im going to try their bread(s) and Baggett(s) next time, the aroma alone is amazing. Please never lose your quality and standards guys, there is a reason why we come to you, even in these rough economic times.

Great pastries and latte. The plain croissant and the goat cheese/olive pastry -my favorite- were great. The cinnamon tourbillon and apple nest were good as well. Friendly and helpful staff. Paid street parking is free before 8AM.

Pros: Loved the palmier, chocolate croissant, cinnamon bun, and vanilla custard tart. Staff is friendly enough. Cons: A bit pricier than other bakeries/cafes. Parking is a challenge. They run out of pastries pretty quick, though. I’m not sure if they bake them all day. I hope so! I’ll ask next time I drop by.

Best croissants and peppermint mocha I have ever had! The peppermint mocha was made from real chocolate and I was able to substitute with almond milk.

The staff here are incredibly kind, sincere, and thoughtful, and the food is delicious! I visited bakeries all over Halifax and Dartmouth during my trip out east, and LF Bakery was easily my best experience, with the tastiest food and the best staff. I had spent all day looking for almond croissants but found most bakeries were sold out, or advertised they had them, but in actuality did not. When I arrived at LF I explained this, and not only did they give me the most delicious almond croissants I’ve had, they also threw in two extra for free! Such a kind gesture I will not forget! They made my day, and honestly it was a highlight of my trip to Nova Scotia! ❤️❤️
