We used Rudy's Catering for our wedding at the Sea King Club on Aug 20/16. The process leading up to the wedding with Rudy and the staff was stress free and he is very accommodating. Our appointment to try the food was great and it made us really look forward to the meal at our wedding. It did not disappoint. Our guests raved about the food and the service. The only complaint was that they wished they could have had third or fourth plates haha but there was definitely more than enough food for our 90+ guests and the cost was very good as far as wedding catering costs go now a days. I highly recommend Rudy's whether it is catering for a wedding, work event, etc. or just to eat at his shop downtown for breakfast or lunch. We will look back on our wedding day fondly and remember the delicious meal and service!! Thank you Rudy and team!! �
We found this spot by randomly walking by it one day and it was the best decision to try it out. The food is amazing and the staff is wonderful and the prices are reasonable. Definitely my favourite lunch spot downtown :)
You will not find better customer service anywhere in the city. Rudy’s is the PLACE to go for lunch in Halifax. The food is delicious (the tomato bisque soup is the best soup I’ve had in awhile) and Rudy and his team are so friendly, always ensuring you leave with your stomach full and a smile on your face. Could not recommend this place more!
Ps u need to try the tomato bisque soup…. It’s Otherworldly.

Ah Rudy's. It has been a staple in my life for over 11 years and I wouldn't have it any other way. They adopted me into the family as they do everyone, and I consider myself lucky to be one of the many add-ons. Great food, great portions, fair prices. You can't go wrong. Maria, Rudy, René, and Holly will do it right for you every time. Now I'm hungry. Enjoy!
Rudy’s was amazing! We went for a quick brunch and ordered the Rudy’s breakfast sandwich and seafood chowder. The food was incredible! Real seafood in the chowder and fresh challah buns for our sandwiches. The staff were also very friendly, the owner coming out to chat when he found out we were visiting from out of town. Highly recommend!
This is one of my fav spot for lunch/breakfast. Their pesto pasta and special sandwich is one of the best I've ever had. If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out on one of the best local spots eat in Halifax.
We ordered pasta today, they cooked the pasta in front of us, fully customizable, and that too for just $14 for a huge portion - we took half of it home. The owner is amazing and provided excellent service to ensure the food is tasting well. Their service, food and price is truly exceptional.
Soooo sooooooo good!!! The people are precious. They're kind and welcoming, and the food portions are fabulous and not to mention, DELICIOUS. Bang for your buck. And sometimes you also get freebies !! Definitely going to be a regular spot! Thank you for your service ❤️
We have been visiting Halifax since Monday and regret that we didn't find this place sooner. The prices are great but the amount of food you get is better. The service is incredibly kind and everyone was just so pleasant. If you're visiting from out of town (or province!) You have to go here.
Rudy’s is the best breakfast and lunch spot downtown, period. Has been for a long time. The food is excellent, homemade delicious. Lots of classics and great daily specials. The portions and prices are also excellent.
You will see a mix of people coming in from politicians and bureaucrats, business people, construction workers, police, couriers, students -everyone is welcome. Those that know, know.
Best costumer service and friendliest atmosphere you could ask for, to boot.
