Arisu Table Bbq And Sushi Bar

Today was my fourth visit to Aris Today. We especially enjoyed the beer party with the woman boss. She was very kind and full of love. Fantastic food & services!! I love it!!! ♡♡♡

Great place, friendly staff and delicious food!! We were there last night to for the first time and it definitely exceeded our expectations. We started off with several different kinds of sushi which they were all very delicious and fresh. Then we ordered the Spicy Chicken bbq to share. There were so many healthy side orders came along with it and the spicy chicken was very flavorful. Also, we had a chance to meet the owner who is a very pleasant, friendly lady! Thank you Arisu, we are definitely coming back!

This place is amazing!! The staff are friendly and the food is delicious! The spicy squid stir fry and the Korean bbq at my favour menu items. Highly recommend trying this place!

I have been here twice for lunch, and if you want lunch in a hurry this is the place you want to be. When you enter, you get pleasantly greeted by all the staff you meet. Then you notice the wide open, clean, and modern space. The Mongolian grill used to exist in this space, which was very tired and questionable at times. Although now, I must say Ari Su's interior feels very clean and certainly inviting after the great renovations they have made to the space. When you arrive at your table you get a pot of brown rice tea, which they top up if you ask. The restaurant has lunch specials ranging from $10 to $20 dollars and the a la carte is also available for you. I tried the spicy chicken bento box and on a different occasion tried the pork cutlet bento box. Both were great, the portions are huge and I always end up taking half of it home for a snack. On dining with friends and family, I havent yet heard a bad thing about the food or service at Ari Su, its holding strong and maintaining their standard since opening. You cant beat their lunch, their service and atmosphere. If you are in the mood for Asian fusion, have a big group going out for a work lunch, or plan on taking that special person out on a dinner date even, this is a great place to eat. I may just need to make a lunch reservation..........soon!

I went here for a late dinner around 8 o'clock. What seemed to be the owner saw us come in and rushed to the door to greet us, which was unexpected and very thoughtful. Once we were seated we were brought complimentary rice tea, which I really love and think is a wonderful first impression. As we looked at the menu we were really impressed with the wide selection. We decided to go for the Japanese sushi side rather than the Korean BBQ, as there was two of us and I'm a vegetarian. We placed our orders, assorted tempura to start, the Veg maki set, and the maki combo set. Shortly after we placed our order the owner brought us some complementary chicken katsu. I didn't partake but my partner found it delicious. Shortly after, our tempura arrived and it was top notch. The real treat, however, was how beautiful the sushi was when it arrived. I couldn't believe how beautiful the presentation was. It really makes me happy when you can see how much pride the chef has put into their work. We ate as much as we could, and every bite was delicious. Service was attentive without being pushy which we both really appreciate. I have found my new favorite sushi spot in Halifax. The mix of hospitality, quality, and presentation of food was something I have not experienced in this city in a long time. After we paid the bill, the owner came over to ask how it was and we really thanked him for the wonderful experience. He told us about his chefs and the business which was very sweet of him. As we left all of the staff were smiling and waving at us. Fantastic experience.
