Delicious food and happy, pleasant service from Heather. I had the lobster and it was a good two pound market with potatoes and asperagus for $35. The potatoes were amazing. Shared an oyster appetizer but it was just boring on a bed of lettuce, I would recommend serving it with some fresh lemon slices and perhaps some choices of toppings like a sriracha-ginger or mignonette (rw vinegar/shallot/lemon/pepper) on the side. Let them know if you have a nut allergy and if so, skip the carrot cake and the choc cake, which all looked deelish and were enjoyed by others at my table. Creme brûlée was served not quite set but it was creamy and the sugar was hot and torched perfectly. Still giving this place five stars for the food since it is one of the best places to eat in Fredericton. Give it a try for a special night out!
We found Wolastoq Wharf on Yelp as we passed through Fredricton and thought we would give it a try. We ordered several starters such as the mussels in a maple curry broth, shrimp rolls, coconut shrimp and a main of seafood fettuccine. The attention to detail in each dish was exemplary and the taste was fantastic. We didn't have room for desert, but they all sounded wonderful, all made on site. We highly recommend Wolsatoq Wharf!
We had the lobster platter and the risotto. The risotto was super tasty! Very creamy. On the other hand, the lobster was a little over cooked and it was sitting in maple syrup sauce which makes it very sweet. The "butter" was also sweet, and the vegetables. Everything on that plate was sweet. Our waitress was super nice. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.
My parents treated me to dinner here while I am home for the holidays and we had an absolutely wonderful meal. Highly recommend the maple curry mussels and my mango chutney salmon was the best salmon I can remember enjoying in a long time. My parents both had the seafood fettuccine and I can see why it is one of the most popular dishes - large portions piled with lots of seafood. Thank you for a nice night!
Four stars for a great meal! Again, another restaurant that had tables ready but reserved for other clientele. They don't expect walk ins? Anyway! We were sat out in the patio and the weather was perfect so no issue at all. Just a heads up-call and reserve. Now, I had a great evening meal at this place. Seen below is the prime roast that I ordered and enjoyed. Overpriced absolutely, but tasty absolutely. I love the loaded mashed potatoes and the vegetables were cooked well and tasted great and paired well with the roast. We ordered a seafood chowder and it was ok, not as smooth as other chowders I have had but tasted great. Oh, one note- order their creme brûlée it is worth the money! Four stars is deserved for the excellent staff. I removed one because of the inflated prices and their debit machine is set to start at 18%.
Easily a top 3 seafood restaurant in Fredericton. Typically offers a house special and a few dished for the more plain jane kids like mine. The staff are friendly, the food hot and timely, and the patio is great in summer!
Very nice restaurant and the food is amazing! Had some oysters for appetizer and then Lobster dinner and steak. The price is slightly on the higher end but affordable. Our waiter Brenton was super friendly and helpful when we asked questions about the area, places to go and things to do. This is a must go place if you’re visiting Fredericton!!!
Wow, that’s all that needs to be said, great atmosphere, waiting staff amazing, the food is absolutely delicious, the seafood chowder, the crab cakes, the lobster roll are so flavorful 👏👏👏👏👏
Everyone's lunches looked delicious! I decided to treat myself to the lobster & scallop pasta dish. While it's a little pricey, to me it's worth it, not only with how delicious it is and the big pieces of seafood in it, but the lobster tail it comes with makes it. Always a delicious meal at WW!
