I have now found a third place in Alberta with proper poutine! One in Calgary where I live, one in Canmore and now Dixie Lee in Edmonton. They have italian poutine and galvaude so they know their stuff! I've never found these two classic variations anywyere in Alberta so far. 20 years and nada. Et ca parle francais tout partout, staff et clients! Va falloir qu eje revienne pour essayer l'autre sauce de poutine, la pizza et bien sur la poutine italienne. Aussi, superbe service ce soir avec la jolie quebecoise au comptoir. Joviale et super accommodante (sp?). Merci.

I like going to Dixie Lee, especially to pick on the owner! He's got a great sense of humour. Him and his staff go above and beyond to make sure you get the best food and service there is to offer in the restaurant/take out industry. I like there food and they keep the place very clean too! I would recommend Dixie Lee Whyte Ave to anyone out there suffering from hunger right now! Keep up with the great work!!! A+
