For a restaurant like this the prices were unexpectedly reasonable. My huge bowl of rice and beef curry cost 14.50 which I thought was pretty good. The restaurant was well decorated with Japanese cultural symbols, paintings and calligraphy on the walls. I think the food was not exceptional, but it was good (especially after considering the price). The staff are friendly, too.
It was a spontaneous visit to Kyoto and it didn't disappoint. Staff was friendly and helpful with our food choices. The portion and prices were surprisingly reasonable. The restaurant was tastefully decorated. Looking forward to return and trying some of the other items on the menu. Make sure you register your car licence. That's it! Overall a very good experience.
Fast friendly service. Unpretentious, on a small strip mall, pleasant decor and good food at a good price. Definitely come again place. I had a bentonite box, 3 choices and rice, salad , soup. Servings were generous.
My children enjoyed the tempura, they have a great maki and tasty soup you have to register your car plate number before you can dine in
Great lunch bentos! I got bento B with sashimi and tempura. Got 7 thick slices of sashimi. Comes with with miso soup and rice, salad, a deep fried salmon side with sweet chili sauce, tempura is very crispy with mix of shrimp and veggies all for $14! I was also craving their negitoro and chop chop maki! Maki rools were both $4.50!! So good! Will be back for more :)
Kyoto Japanese restaurant has wonderful staff, & chefs.
There food is fresh and delicious.. My sister and I treat ourselves once in awhile. We even had the honor of meeting the owner a wonderful fellow very pleasant.
You get the true Japanese cuisine. I will refer this place to everyone.
I love their Sushi. It's inexpensive, and you get good portions for what you pay for. It's always very fresh and tasty. It's my number 1 sushi. They do dine in, pick up, or delivery through skip. β€π§‘ππππππ€π€π€
It's a great place to have Japanese food there. bento box is only 14 bucks at lunch time, quality is great and the portion is big, staffs are so friendly. We go there almost once a week
