Chap and Jacks Adventures

I had the half over of 4 cheese cream ravioli and my niece had the full size fettuccine bolognese. Both were quite delightful although the ravioli was quite rich so ate it slowly. Will definitely get the fettuccine next time, service was great and prompt...would highly recommend this place :)

I've checked out this spot a few times. Each time really good food and service. This time was a little different, it wasn't initially my typical experience. Ordered and when the bread came request an additional side of olive oil and vinegar. Had to ask a pleasant bus boy. Our server remembered after the fact. Order came incorrect but the food runner corrected it before he walked away. Packing up the incorrect order for me to take 'to go'. Server came over to apologize and said my dish was taken off the bill. No I didn't eat with who I was with but the staff 'put out the fire' before it even started. Reconized error and made sure I wasn't leaving anything but satisfied with the service, bill and food. I give Sorrentio's South a 5 star because of the consistency, food and customer service. Sure this visit was not 100% but accidents/off days happen and everything was rectified before voicing my dismay. I will dine here again and look forward to it!

The food was great, I ordered the roasted red pepper chicken penne and it was delicious and my husband got the pepperoni funghi pizza that he loved.

I think you're basically guaranteed great food here!! Their bread appie is so delicious! Sorrentino's is a well known Edmonton brand and I think for that reason charge a bit higher prices than some other Italian restaurants. Particularly for liquor. It's definitely a fancier dining experience with cloth napkins and all the waiters are wearing ties. They have built a cheaper menu for the new year with more basic food options which seemed pretty decent (we did not order from it). I had the Capellini Favolosi which was ah-mazingly delicious! Picture attached. I'm giving 4 stars for the unnecessarily pricey feel and speed from the kitchen. We got there on Saturday before 8pm and service was slow from the kitchen for our table of two. Others nearby were also complaining. However, our waitress seemed overall very attentive. Will come back, but only when I'm feeling fancy!
