SP is not an impressive store with a waterfront view and chandeliers but it was homey enough inside. We arrived on Sunday just after noon and the place was soon hopping busy. It turns out ramen is the main deal here. Both the noodles (as you can see by the front window) and the stock are made in house. We tried the basic ramen. It came with a slice of smoked pork, chashu style, a nicely soft boiled egg as well as some greens and green onion. It was very rich and very nicely flavoured. More impressive still was the Perilla Ramen which we had never seen on a menu before. Perilla is a herb belonging to the mint family although it does not taste minty. In the case of the ramen, perilla refers to the ground seeds like you might find on your Korean Pork Bone Soup. It looks a little like a good dusting of pepper but adds more of a nutty earthy flavour. A nice creative addition. The soups were the same otherwise but we found this one tastier. On the side, we had their fried dumplings. These were actually pretty close to solid meat inside and we thought a little vegetable matter might not have been amiss although they were tasty. Served with a sort of sweet-spicy Thai sauce. We ordered the smoked pork side dish which we realised was the same as the pork in the ramen. Served with absolutely necessary kimchi, this was amazing but super-rich ( I try not to use superlatives. I don't want to sound like Trump but in this case...). Comfortable enough inside and complete with an Everlast heavy bag (marked for punching only and not climbing on) which I assume is for staff to take out their frustrations. I don't think customers will find themselves needing to vent. Oh btw, there is a kimchi bar (more of a fridge actually) where you can get a plate ($5.00?) and chose your kimchi. Nice!

My favorite go-to-ramen. Just sad that they left Kingsway and move to Port Coquitlam but distance wont stop me from going there. Its a hidden gem if you want a decent ramen. The soup is flavourful and the noodles is chewy just the way I like it.

Good service, great food, and reasonably priced.

I do have to say that the place from the outside is a little sketchy looking, but once inside its nice and cozy and the service is great

We came here for a date night after friends recommended it - and were not disappointed! You might not notice it in the evening because it's a little dark on the outside, we drove right past it initially.

Once you're inside the decor is cool with a lot of comic-book style art and decorations, as well as a customized arcade game for the restaurant - I guess they used to have another restaurant called 'Ramengers', so the Avengers theme makes sense!
We had the Spicy Ramen and some Gyoza. The ramen was excellent, with a rich and complex broth and one of the better eggs I've had. The noodles had the perfect texture and meat must have been BBQed in house - instead of multiple smaller slices they give you a thicker piece that is falling-apart tender.High quality and just the right amount of food.

A cozy place to come with ur friends, family and couples as well💕 The food is really great, especially the meat. I can see they have prepared a lot for the meat, it is delicious💕 They have a gaming machine w a lot of games, so don't forget to bring some coins to play it☺️. The service is fast, don't worry that you have to wait. The price is about $15/ person (included tip)💕

Ramengers to smoking pig. What can I say, their ramen is probably the best I've had in most of metro Vancouver. It was a shame.they left Kingsway and boundary. I drive out to Coquitlam just to have their ramen. Same two owners from ramengers, super friendly and accommodating. Their unique style in Chasu and ramen make their noodle dish one to drive out for. That's just the ramen. Have you tried the fried chicken? I feel it rivals that of many fried chicken specialty restos at half the price. This review doesn't do the food and service justice. Come down and try for yourself!

Fresh delicious food and huge portions! This place opened near our house a few months ago, and we've been here several times. The menu changes, but always has delicious offerings.

This place is new and a little distance away from the Korean Town area. It's a hidden gem in my opinion. You can tell the owner is a bit of a geek judging from the marvel comics decor and robotic models in the shop. It has a big punching bag in the restaurant so it really has a relaxed atmosphere. The iced roasted🌽 tea was wonderful on a super hot day. The pork soup was simple but very flavourful. It's very comforting and can tell from the taste that is nutritious. Then it was the spicy cold noodle with spicy pork. It's full of veggie, with a boiled eggs with lots of pork. It's presented beautifully. Then the the spicy fried chicken. We had the sauce on the side to suit our very picky child so we can't really fairly judge it as it didn't get softened by the sauce. It was a nice meal overall!

Fantastic food and service. We are newbies to Korean food and our server was incredibly helpful. Had the smoked pork, the pork/onion soup & dumplings and all was great. Service was really fast! Will be going back and hopefully soon.

We saw this restaurant was highly rated, so we came here and tried their food.

There is not too many parking spots outside the restaurant. We came after 2pm, so we could park anywhere we wanted. Location wise is not great.

We ordered half order of boneless fried chicken with sweet soy, pork and rice soup and smoked pork. All of them tasted great. The pork in the pork and rice soup was very tender and soft. Once we put the pork in our mouths, they would be melting right away. The soup looked simple but the flavour was fabulous. The half order of the fried chicken had 10 pieces. Each piece had a decent size. Two of us couldn't finish the dish because we ordered other two dishes of food. The smoked pork tasted good but we liked the pork and rice soup more.

Pricing is reasonable and average here. It was just strange that the restaurant did not turn on the heat. A server provided us a small heater just in case we felt cold. Other than the parking and heating system issues, we enjoyed the food here.
