The restaurant is one of most tiniest restaurants, so I suggest you take it to-go as the name implies. The sushi is very good at a great price and the service is decent. Sometimes it can be a tad slow, but usually, it's decent.
Ownership has changed recently! (Summer 2014). The sushi is now much better, fresh and fast. The service is friendly and the portion size has increased. Spicy rolls used to just have some sriracha poured on top, now there is a spicy aioli mixed with another hot sauce and chopped chives. Good for the price - not gourmet sushi, however. Would recommend, overall.
If anyone knows the owners of this restaurant, please help them out! I feel so sad that the simplest adjustments aren't being made which could make them so much more successful.
1. Smile! Customer service is everything in this city (and most cities). Twice I've been here to eat and the service was so impersonal - the man actually looked annoyed to serve us.
2. Clean up and do some minor repair. Nobody who owns a restaurant is too poor to afford a bucket of paint and some dollar store decor. This place looks like a broken dream. :(
3. Know how to use your own payment machines. Explain that credit cards aren't accepted when someone hands you a visa instead of trying to put it through on your debit only machine.
4. Kim Bob (bab) is Korean sushi. Most people who aren't Korean don't know that, and they would be excited to try it. Why not have a sign that says "try Korean sushi here!" The Kim Bob at this place is delicious, by the way.
I'm sorry if anyone is offended by this review but I mean it as helpful criticism because this place could be SO much more popular if they tried a little.
