Very tasty dishes and great portion size. Worth the money! We tried the lamb and butter chicken: both were delicious.
$17.99 for lunch special, lamb curry. They give you a big thali with few items. Food wasn't bad, service was better. I think the food is fine for the intended audience in the town, I prefer mine spicier.

I had an amazing visit last night to The Cuisine of India in Castlegar. I was so impressed with the service and atmosphere in this small BC town. The lassi drinks were sweet, I had the best veggie Samosas ever. Their mint and tamarind sauces for samosas were chilled and perfectly blended. Roti bread, pulau rice, and spicy lamb saag were all done to perfection. If you are looking for authentic, well made, and delicious Indian food, visit this location. Don’t be afraid to ask questions about dishes you aren’t familiar with, the staff was very very helpful!
Easily one of the best restaurants in Castlegar. Super tasty and the heat is as little or as much (if you are brave) as you want.
This is one of our favourite places to dine in and take out!
