Cuisine Of India - Castlegar - Photo album

Very tasty dishes and great portion size. Worth the money! We tried the lamb and butter chicken: both were delicious.
$17.99 for lunch special, lamb curry. They give you a big thali with few items. Food wasn't bad, service was better. I think the food is fine for the intended audience in the town, I prefer mine spicier. Restaurant ambience was nice and clean. The lady in front was super nice.
The Korma was very good..... BUT for $15 plus tax and tip =$20 no rice, no naan and a small portion. As much as I enjoy the taste, the 5 lil chicken pieces in sauce was not worth the value.
Small portions, waaay overpriced. I ordered a butter chicken Thali platter. No salad (yet there was salad dressing on my platter). I had an amazing visit last night to The Cuisine of India in Castlegar. I was so impressed with the service and atmosphere in this small BC town. The lassi drinks were sweet, I had the best veggie Samosas ever. Their mint and tamarind sauces for samosas were chilled and perfectly blended. Roti bread
Easily one of the best restaurants in Castlegar. Super tasty and the heat is as little or as much (if you are brave) as you want.
Small portions, unimaginative dishes. I'm not sure why Cuisine of India thinks their clientele has never had a thali platter before but that's the impression I get from theirs. No fresh veggie, no good veggie dish like biryani or korma, no sweet (rice pudding), half a nan (really?) and uninspired
This is one of our favourite places to dine in and take out! The food is always consistently great, portions are large, prices are reasonable, and staff are pleasant. One of the best all-around restaurants in Castlegar, in my opinion.
