The wait staff here are very friendly, even in the lounge where we usually sit. Their drinks are good, I enjoy their belinis.
The crispy chicken pecan salad is extremely tasty (I get mine without egg since I'm not a fan but imagine it would be good). The crispy chicken with the shredded carrots and tomatoes and pecans is so good and very filling, I usually don't end up finishing mine.
Their baked chipotle bacon penne is also very good too, with just the right amount of heat. Also a good amount of heat, is their jambalaya with sausage, chicken and shrimp.
Convienent place in chinook mall to grab a quick bite whether you are shopping or going to see a movie. We came here tonight on a friday night before our movie. It was quite busy and had to wait about 5-10 mins for a table not too bad. Service was good and food came out quick. I ordered 1/2 order of chicken pecan salad and it was really big portion glad I didn't get the full one cuz I was full. I would come back here again.
Come here on a Tuesday for pasta Tuesday. I always do and the servers are much more patient, for some reason. Coming here on a weekend, they are busy and you will have to wait around 15 - 30 minutes during peak time. The food is good - I always get the Jambalaya, and today we tried the deluxe pizza, which is good but not great. I prefer thicker crusts, but they tend to be oilier, so thus we went with the thin crust. The jambalaya definitely had more shrimp before compared to now. Pizza has okay cheese. Toppings are quite large. Jambalaya still remains as my favorite. Good for the shrimp and chicken lover. Service is always average, with the occasional "How are you doing?" Or "Are you finished with this?". Which is good in my opinion. All in all, this is a good place for a Tuesday.
I read that last review and I must say that my experiences with this place have been very different from what that person said. I came in this past Friday and sat in the bar also. Cool atmosphere, at least for a Boston Pizza. We watched some hockey on Centre Ice and had some wings which were really good! We had a great time. I don't know if we had the same waitress, we had the skinny brunette one. She was awesome. I live in South Calgary near a couple other Boston Pizzas but this one is way better for service and food. I will continue to drive past those other ones to come to this one.
Wow factor!. Excellent service. exceptional food. very clean and friendly staff. By far the best bps i have been to in alberta.
I go to Boston pizza at least once a trip when I come to Calgary on business. I love the multi grain crust and the drink specials. A tad pricey but I love it, and have no complaints about the service either.
Great Waitress. Went to Boston Pizza at Chinook for dinner last week, we had no idea it was even in the mall but we are glad we stumbled upon it! Our waitress (Carissa) was great - friendly and fast. The food was what we expected from a Boston Pizza and was hot when we got it. Managers were the ones cleaning tables which seemed strange. We will defiantly be back.
Best service I've experienced in a long time! Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful, and our food came out quickly. Love the fried wings!!!! No complaints whatsoever.
Pleasantly Surprised. Stopped in here with my girlfriend after a movie over the weekend. I'm not usually a Boston Pizza fan, in fact I go out of my way to avoid the chain in most cases, but it was close and we figured that they had cheesecake.
The service was great; we were seated quickly and they had drinks on the table in short order. The place was busy but our orders were taken and the food brought out quite quickly too. She opted for the chocolate explosion, which was good but way too rich for me beyond a bite or two. I nabbed one of the pulled pork pizza's from their new menu. Amazing. While the pork looked more chopped than pulled, it had good texture and a great sauce (which really makes any pulled pork memorable for me). It was a very big surprise and probably one of the best meals I've had at any of the franchise locations in years.
I'll have to consider stopping in again sometime.
The food at this location was phenomenal, and the service overall was excellent. The prices was right, and you'll never know what kind of new menu items you'll find from Boston Pizza. It's not your typical Pizza Chain as it offers not only your usual suspects at a pizza joint, but it offers new and exciting menu items and even specialty items like gluten free dishes.
