Wasn't amazing, wasn't terrible. Decent burger, crispy fries, and a tasty peanut butter milkshake. I wouldn't rush back or go out of my way, but not a disappointing experience either.
That sucks about all the reviews on this place. I ordered the Hawaiian burger and I actually thought it was quite delicious. The place is really nice it's clean and it's in a good location but it is a little pricey I'll give you all that. $7.50 for just the burger
Really great burger. I would totally recommend this place for a great tasting burger. Fresh house made burgers daily. Friendly service. Clean, well taken care of restaurant.
Pretty Decent Burger. The new Crowfoot location opened 6 weeks ago, and we decided to try it out for lunch today. If it wasn't for the sandwich boards out on Nosehill Drive, we would have had no idea it was actually there. The place was very busy at noon, with our orders taken quickly. The staff on duty were older adults and were very pleasant and enthusiastic, plus efficient. Decor is quite nice - bleached wood with leather and "industrial" touches, but the lighting a bit dark . We were told the burgers were made fresh daily - they came hot, with fresh-made brioche buns, I thought the bun was quite exceptional. We had the bacon bbq cheese burgers; with surprise! real cheddar cheese. The meat was tasty and fresh but actually a bit lean for our tastes, however not dry. We ordered the garlic parm fries to share - not sure if I'd order them again. Nice garlic taste but the parm is a powdered seasoning much like you get at the theatre for your popcorn, rather disappointing. I would have paid a bit extra for real grated cheese. The fries in themselves are great, seemingly fresh cut and crispy, fried to perfection. We also shared a chocolate shake and it was great, very creamy and tasty. I would for sure go back for just a shake. Overall, we liked Boardwalk a fair bit and would come back. A little pricey, but good, pleasant and competent service - which is sorely starting to lack in Calgary in these type of dining establishments.
A bit pricey but It's actually not bad!. Thought I'd give these guys a try, just so you know this isn't your typical Wendy's, McDonalds or Burger King.. this is a burger joint!! I had a double BBQ bacon cheddar burger, regular size coke (free refills!) After waiting about 5 minutes for my order it was served to my table. First thing I noticed was the burger was very flavorful and was steaming hot until the last bite. It was definitely one of the freshest, tastiest burgers I've had since I tried "In N Out Burger" last April (No comparison please come to Canada!) Fries are great hot and crispy just the way I like them. I ended up spending $17 tax in, a bit pricey but hell I thought I'd treat myself.
They have tons of other stuff on the menu like milkshakes cheesy fries and poutine it's definitely worth coming out and checking these guys out. One thing I noticed right off the bat was the staff seemed very happy to be there, everybody was smiling, relaxed and treated me very well, no temporary foreign workers here!
Pro's- Good meal, decent selection, friendly staff, served to your table and tucked away location!
Con's- Pricey
Such Great Burgers, Fries (Bacon Ranch) and Shakes, If You Haven't Been You Need to Go. Classic double is the way to go, beefy, cheesy and the special sauce is amazing
I was at boardwalk burgers today, good food good service, some of the reviews are not true. Great burgers and milkshake really enjoyed it
Very good fast food burger. Will eat there again.
Wow...they are good!. Loved the juicy burger with the best quality bun I ever ate. And the milkshakes are just amazing. I took my colleagues the next day and they all loved it. Great job guys!!!
