Love this place, haven't had a bad meal here, not a huge wing person but I make an exception for pops wings cause they are awesome. Atmosphere can be sketchy sometimes.
Pop's is easily one of the best bars in Calgary to have a drink and some food. The staff are always super friendly and accommodating to the large group (20+ people) we usually come in. Their menu is sizeable with a lot of interesting and unique offerings.
We are usually here on wing Wednesday (25 cents) and they are always on point with the seasoning/sauce. I usually go for their honey jack or dill pickle...or both. My favourite day to come though is Tuesday for 88 cent tacos, I mean how do you beat that price? They aren't very big but when you can order 10 for under $10 you're good to go.
If Pop's wasn't so far away for me it would be my go to bar for every occasion.
Great local gem. We come a couple times a week, love the specials especially the tacos (finally have soft tacos. Been waiting forever!) and we enjoy the wings as are always fresh and tons of flavours. Service is bar none, prefer it over any other pub in the area, always greeted with a smile no Matter who the server. The shorter brown haired girl, Morgan if we recall, is one of our favorites. They are always prompt, seem genuinely happy and truly want you to enjoy your time there. Definitely recommend this place to my friends.

7 of us came here on a busy night, the hockey game was playing but none of us actually knew that (terrible sports fans) so we were surprised the place was so full. The waitress and management moved a few groups around to accommodate us which was much appreciated.
Our waitress was so prompt! Got us all drinks and water in about 5 minutes which was really incredible given how busy the place was. Everyone at the table also ordered food, which again came very quickly. This place really knocked it out of the park for service. Our waitress was quick and attentive with everything. Food was also very good. Not mind blowing, but for pub food, really good value for the price.
I got the traditional club house, at the recommendation of the bf who had had it before, I asked for no mayo. It was good though even without mayo it was a bit on the greasy side. Sweet potato fries were perfect.
I'll gladly go here again if I'm in the area.
Great place! Wings are always consistently good, and can never go wrong accompanied with a good caesar. Its always a fun environment but my friends and I usually go because the service is awesome, and really really friendly! One server specifically with a sweet voice always makes us feel welcome and well looked after! Treating people like you genuinely care and not just because of the tip does not go unnoticed! Thanks guys, keep up the good work!
Cheap perogie night is so delicious. I got the red pepper garlic dry rub, bacon bits and chives and the garlic dip. Delish. 25¢ what more can you ask for?
Came here for wings, burgers and poutine once and perogies a couple of times. The food has always been good great. I think they need more waiting staff, waiting has been an issue a couple of times not sure to the servers abilities but due to the lack of servers.
Pretty good taco Tuesday and I quite enjoy their wings! Place is always empty when I go but get spot and I haven't had any complaints so far.
I've been to Pop's several times this summer and it has been consistently good. Taco Tuesday is the best. Service is friendly. Location has plenty of parking. Interior is comfortable. This is an above average pub/restaurant in my opinion.
