Being a big fan of Bun Bo Hue, this place is pretty good. It has a nice spicy tang to it and uses a separate broth instead of their regular broth and adding a spoon of paste. What's really missing (which would be nice) is adding pork hock or blood to their broth.
Portion size is decent for their price and it's one of the better quality ones compared to Pho Kim, pho so 1.

The place is a little dingy but I've learnt to overlook that she the food it good. Had chicken vermicelli. The chicken was dry but the portion was good size. Service was prompt. Would I go out of my way, probably not.

It was my first time dining here last week and I say their fried crab wanton w/ cream cheese wowed me the most. I just wasn't expecting all the flavors exploding in and creating this perfect combination in my mouth, plus the portioning are enormous... I tried their beef pho noodles and the broth's simplicity is just what I was looking for.. I didn't even have to put anything in it... Their special fried rice? again for the price it's packed with everything.. I think my minor complaint would be that the noodles weren't warm or hot enough for me when it's served...
Second visit was yesterday night.. I ordered the crab w/ cream cheese again.. I dunno what happened but the portioning shrunk by 70%... I was a bit disappointed because I was expecting what was served to me the first time.. But all in all don't be discouraged by the looks of this place they serve great dishes that you'll sure crave and enjoy..
OMFG! Dat coconut curry broth doe! I couldn't stop eating it but sadly I had to stop when the bowl was empty 😢. Anyway the only thing I personally would change is tell them to omit the green onions they garnish with as I'm not a huge fan of that but otherwise... next time I am going to try and order the ice cream bucket size of that soup!
what i like about this place is the curry pho. I was introduced to this place by my friends and i was surprised by how tasty the curry broth was. My friends usually bring the soup back home to re-use with noodles. I have only had this dish here and was impressed by it. will need to return to try some other dishes :)
Food here is delicious, and there is so much variety. All of their soups are amazing. I personally love their satay pho, curry soups, and won ton noodle bowls. Spring rolls are also my favorite in the city, always crisp and perfect. Lots of food for a great price!
Every time I move cities it takes me a while to settle on a new pho spot. After trying out many in the area this place is now my go to restaurant for pho. I've tried the curry soup also and it is really good too. One day maybe I will try ordering something other than soup there

Exceptionally good food and service. It's hard to find a good vegetarian curry in Calgary, and this one absolutely hit the mark. The broth was flavorful and thick and the soup had just the right amount of tofu and veggies. A+++++
I've walked by this place for the past 4 years, and never really thought much about it. The place from the outside looks dated, and with a dump and grease bin out front, I basically discounted it. Today was the day I decided to give it a go. Inside reminded me of a small town diner back when I was a kid in Saskatchewan. Had #30 and it's probably the best coconut curry broth I've ever had! Fiancé had a Vermicelli mixed bowl and it was superb. This is my new favourite place in the Centre street area south of 16th Ave. Definitely recommended and will be back for more!
A little hole in the wall that you might miss if you aren't looking for it. Definitely glad that we tried this place! Seems very family oriented and the owners are very friendly. Good prices and you will leave full as the portions are fair sized. I had the satay beef pho soup and it was pretty spicy which is how I like it. The broth is nice and light, and I thought the meat in it was enjoyable. My husband had the beef bun with spring rolls and also enjoyed It, although he thought the beef could be a little more flavorful. We liked how everything tasted really fresh. Would return here if we were in the area.
