* dom sum was so good today. Fast fresh and super friendly owner***** tucked away in Lake Bonivista is this small dim sum shop... still ticking.. Great price and fresh 5.00... cant beat that on the south...Attentive attn to the baby...owner came to amuse the baby. Dishes still tadte great..Way cheaper than you know who*Fresh housemade dim sum friendly service from the owner. He was less busy and even special cut the buns for the babies* dinner special salt n per squid 7.95 only at dinner time*decent dim sum th I d still like to the calmari fried fresh.... Their dim sum is now $5 plus .50 at night. Id say they have definitely shrunken the sizes of their dishes. S5 is their shredded taro rot cake with chinese sausage and 5 spice. It was hard and dry but greasy. The sui mai is much improved. Not so fatty chunky. .**** Nice mom n pop shop. I really like that do house made dim sum. It's small 28 seats. We made reservation and by 1110 all tables filled except 2 two person tables. I didn't like the sui mai. It was chunky and very fatty and the bathroom needs cleaning. We liked the Hai how, Chai sui churn fun, salt pepper squid..pan fried pork buns ..pork dumplings. .sticky rice..salt pepper tofu... I thought the sticky rice was goid but too small.. 2 small packets and the seasoning on tofu is chilli and goes better with the fried squid. Much improved is the timing. It was faster than last time.
A southern hidden jam in city! The restaurant is small but the food is really good! Tried their rice rolls it's the best I've ever tasted in Canada. Price is good as well!
One of the few dim sum options south of downtown. Owners are both professionally trained chefs who make their dim sum in house, as opposed to some other places that tend to cook frozen, prepackaged dim sum. Great service, always pleasant, and food is consistently good. Never had their take out or dinner menu.
