The boneless thighs with fries and a drink for $10 is a great value. The chicken was perfect. Crispy without being at all overcooked. NOT GREASY AT ALL. Best fried chicken I have ever had. Fries were good too. A little bit battered. Its a Chinatown location so don't expect amazing ambiance. It was clean enough although very small more suited for take out really. Service was fine and the food came out quick enough.

No doubt that its delicious (the bulgogi fries should be the main reason if any visit) but it's ultimately still fast food, and its pretty pricey for that category. A good visit here and there is worth it to satisfy that fried Korean chicken craving, but unfortunately my wallet can't warrant regular visits here 😢
Yummy stuff though, so go nuts if you're not a poor student like me!

I freaking love Korean fried chicken!!!! And wow chicken did not disappoint. We ordered the gang jeong (sweet) and one of their three piece chicken combos with fries. The gang jeong were smaller boneless pieces, and perfect to eat in a bite and not be messy. Their fries kinda of remind me of the Costco fries... Perfectly crispy on the outside, and they were good!

I can't find anything bad to say. Can't wait to go back

A small little place but the food is definitely worth it. We had to wait a little but they brought everything out at the same time, piping hot, and it was delicious! The prices can be a little on the higher end but this is a great place for fairly large portions and a variety of flavors.

Went to the newer location in Chinatown and the chicken was still really tasty. I highly recommend getting the bulgogi fries and shallot chicken is my all time favorite. I think the Kensington location has a better atmosphere though.

Just as good as the one in Kensington. I still believe that wow chicken is the best korean fried chicken in Calgary. And they also have the best fries! I like the atmosphere of Kensington a little more because of how the tables are set up and the neighbourhood but Chinatown is more convenient if you live or work downtown

I'm happy my favourite fried chicken restaurant opened another location! The Chinatown location is closer to work so I can get my fried chicken fix easier. I call ahead to order and by the time I walk there my food is ready to go. I usually get the thighs because the meat is really tender and juicy and I don't have to worry about bones. I like the garlic soy and spicy sauce but I get it on the side so the fried chicken stays really crispy. The shallot chicken is delicious as well!
