Great little restaurant. We ordered their special of the day, which was a chirashi don set with more expensive cuts of sashimi than the regular chirashi don. The food was fresh and service was great!
Seriously love this place, it is a real hidden gem! My boyfriend and I were craving sushi but the places recommended to us were closed so we searched for some place nearby. I am honestly so glad we came to this place as the sushi was deliciously fresh, the portions were insanely good and the sashimi were thickly sliced! We fell in love with their bluefin tuna, uni, unagi and hamachi. Seriously recommend you give this place a try! Not to mention the service was excellent, the owners really seem to know their stuff and recommended lots to us. Can't wait to go again :D
Love this place! It's a hidden gem and is my go-to sushi place. You will definitely get the best bang for your buck here! Lunch combo is great, you get sushi, tempura, and rice with beef or chicken plus a pop and soup and salad! The sushi they give is HUGE, its like 2 pieces in 1. The portionings are so amazing forthe price compared to other sushi places. Soy sauce is also house made and delish! The seared salmom belly is a DEFINITE must try, especially for people who love salmon! Service is excellent. Will definitely be back!
Everything was awesome. I ordered by SkipTheDishes, but please add an option to add extra meat/egg/vegetable to the ramen!!! Then I would order again and again and give a 5.0 for sure!
Right off the bat I have to say I love the owner of this place she came to our table after received our food & told us about the food & how everything was prepared & that always makes my meal so much better knowing how much someone cares about the food they serve. So this was the 1st time I was here & it was on Valentines Day so some items might have been specials. I ordered a spicy miso bbq pork ramen dish it had some heat with an outstanding broth that was cooked for 13 hours & was one of the best Ramen dishes I have had. My wife ordered the seaweed salad & salmon sashimi she said both were delicious. I also got the red snapper carpaccio which was fantastic the fish cut thinly in a, as they call it, special sauce.
Freshest sushi in town. I've been here almost a dozen times and everything is consistently fresh and tasty. The staff is beyond friendly and have come to know my favorite order when I walk in. The assorted Sashimi is so delicious and lots of rolls with unique combinations.
This place was my last stop before heading back to Edmonton. I ordered the Spicy Miso BBQ Pork Ramen and it was mouthwatering. The pork was super fat and tender and I just wish they gave more than one piece even though it’s probably not the healthiest thing in the word. I almost finished drinking the broth but I was stuffed. The broth was spicy but no too overwhelming at least for me since I can handle spicy foods. It was also a super cheap dish (~$13-14) so it’s satisfying not only for your stomach but for your wallet as well.
The BBQ pork ramen was good and sushi was fresh. Large cuts of sashimi and sushi. Overall satisfied with the food here and offers good value. We also had the shark fin salad and it was pretty good.
The sushi rolls were decent and ramen was average... The sashimi, however, was amazing. Each piece was super fresh and HUGE. For $2-4 a piece, you really can't go wrong. The service was quick and friendly, too. Definitely recommend checking out this place if you're in the area.
I found this place because its closed to centre st and great reviews on google; however, I was a bit suspicious as it is located in a strip mall in a residential area. Also, I was the only customer there that night around 7ish. I was a bit nervous and thought why this place so quiet. Then the workers are all Chinese as they were speaking cantonese. I thought maybe it was a mistake as I dont believe in Chinese sushi making skills. After taking it home and tried it, I was in awed with the taste and size of the nigiri. Its big, fresh, and delicious. I have tried so many sushi restaurant in Calgary. I think this place taste better than my favourite tenshi sushi and the quality of this place taste so much better than a lot of Japanese chef sushi restaurant. They should open one in the SE area. As the sushi in SE are so so only. I would definitely recommend this place
