One of the best Vietnamese subs in the city! I've also tried the spring rolls and satay beef soyp which are both solid. I will be trying the Pad Thai and Vietnamese bowls next. Great and friendly staff too!
Dan makes the best sate buhn mi sub sandwich. This is my go to place when I'm in a rush and hungry and must eat something good but not go broke. Lucky to have this joint in my neighborhood. Been here many, many times and will definitely go back again and again.
A little hidden gem! This place is really yummy and cozy. I got takeout and it was fast and easy. The spring rolls were super tasty and the pad thai was surprisingly good although it was more of a Vietnamese noodle. I want to go back to try their dumplings sometime! The story on their website of how the creator came to be makes me want to support this local business even more.
Best Pho in the the city! Wor Wonton is a second favourite. Gracious service and quality ingredients. They take pride in their food and it shows. Truly a hidden gem. Try the beef samosa too!
EXCELLENT!!! This place is the definition of a good find. The service here is amazing- very friendly, patient, and personable staff, and (most importantly) the food is BANG ON!
Try the Vietnamese subs next time you are in the area- packed full of flavour and made just right. The beef sate sub in particular is fantastic, but the vegetarian is delicious as well- you can request the tofu on the side and it is a real treat- grilled beautifully.
The wor wonton soup is also amazing. The broth is rich and flavorful, with 10 pork wontons and noodles and vegetables. A little skimpy on the prawns and bbq pork (I usually only get 1 prawn in the bowl). However, the overall large serving makes up for it.
The vegetarian pad thai is absolutely delicious as well. Packed with flavour and you can tell is fresh.
The staff is always smiling! Very efficient as well.
The prices are great as well- very good for the portion size you get! Good to see places like this still exist.

My brother-in-law Uncle Ben and his partner, Veggie Girl really like Five Spice. Uncle Ben reports that the owners are meticulous in the sub preparation, making sure that the toppings are arranged just so. They often pick up Vietnamese subs or eat in for pho. Veggie Girl can never finish her sub, but she eats like a bird.
Awesome food...family owned. I can't say enough great things about 5 spice. Small menu, tonnes of flavor, big portions, plus it's cheap. Been a dozen times or so and never had a bad meal.
I'll make this quick and simple. The staff here are very nice and welcoming. The food esspecially the pad thai is yummy and a very good value. Try it out and see for yourself.
Love this place. Best Viet subs in town. They are very generous with portion sizes as well. Highly recommend and will definitely come back again.

I have been in and out of the area many times from going to work and back, and this little place really caught my eye. I came here to urbanspoon/zomato to check out this little venue to see if it's worth going to, I see many great things about this place and I see one review by a fellow reviewer who seems to be very unhappy about everything and somewhat biased on critiquing (I think he/she meant to say to have talent to make something so tasteless or tasteful and not tastefulness?), so I decided to go there and check it out for myself. I ordered what everyone thought was good but they thought was bad, the Wonton Soup. The soup came out, I can't really complain about it, the aroma of the soup was amazing; perhaps it's difference in taste or preference but I find that the noodles were perfectly cook, not too soggy or too undercooked. The shrimp and meat may be a little crispy but they weren't really burnt, and I believe the burnt taste in this soup is sesame oil? This place probably has the best wontons that I have had anywhere, and as a bonus it's MSG free so I won't have to down gallons of water after eating this soup. Can't really say anything else but 5 out of 5, owners were quite friendly and I will definitely come back to this place.
