We had our sons birthday cake made here and not only was it delicious but the were also able to digitally print an image on the cake to match our birthday theme.
Everything is absolutely amazing from this place! It’s so hard to find “ma and pa” bakeries anymore and this place is an absolute gem! For what they do, the prices are very reasonable as well! If you like apple strudels, this is a definite must go!
Ordered a gluten-free and dairy-free cake for a birthday function from the Crowchild location and was very pleased with the painless, no-fuss process. Everyone I dealt with was super helpful, and best of all the cake (chocolate with chocolte icing) was delicious. I actually prefer it to many traditional cakes I've eaten in my lifetime. Didn't have the opportunity to try any of the other delicious-looking treats in the bakery, but I'll certainly be back to do so.
Delicious and terrific price.. Picked up a selection of bars/cookies for an event in the area and was impressed by the quality and price. Could easily make a mixed platter for less than one from a grocery store.
Scrum - tastic baked goods. Lakeview Bakery is definitely a gem. We went on a Sat., around 11 am ish, and some of the items had already been sold out.
I spotted some callebaut chocolate cookies, so we picked a few up - some regular callebaut chocolate chunk and a chocolate cookie with white callebaut chunks.
I can't confirm whether if this is real callebaut chocolates, but nuking the cookies for about 8 or 9 seconds really brings out the chocolaty goodness in the cookies.
We also bought a chocolate cheesecake brownie. I'm not a big fan of brownies at all, the ones I've had were soooooo sweet, an insulin shot was required after eating. Lakeview's take on the brownie was absolutely scrum-tastic, it had the texture of a cake but the density of a brownie. There were also hot cross bun markings on the top, and the best part of all, it was very midly sweet, I could have ate the whole thing in one sitting, it was that good.
I would definitely come back to try some of their other baked goods.
Amazing!. Their location on 90th Avenue and 24th Street is AMAZING!!! I can't even express my gratitute when I found out it was a completely gluten-free bakery. Their food is delicious, and the fact that I can walk in and not have to ask about what is GF and what isn't, was overwhelmingly great. Highly recommend!!!

Gluten free yumminess!. Absolutely love this place, and now that they have opened up the new store on 24th st 90th ave SW. You have to be careful with the cashier using the correct tongs when picking up your food, but otherwise so delicious. Random fact: you need to order pumpkin pies 3 days in advance, cause they are awesome!

Best in Town!!!. Hold smokes... Where do I sart?!?! I'm going to make this short and sweet, and start off by saying COME HERE!!!! I don't care whether you live all the way up by the airport, you need to drive down to this bakery, load up on goodies, and stuff your face untill you can't see straight anymore. It is quite frankly, the best bakery I have ever been too!! EVER!!! And I travel alot, all over Canada! There has NEVER been a bakery as good and consistant as this one anywhere I have been. If you have allergies, this bakery is also the place for you. It specializes in allergy-safe baking. (along with many non-allergy baked goods, as well). So get off the computer right now and visit this place!!! You will not be disappointed!!
Good Gluten Free Products. It's nice to see a quality bakery such as this one offering a good variety of fresh and frozen specialty products such as the ancient grains and the gluten free products.
The fresh rice brownies are awesomely soft and flavorful. Very addictive, even for non celiacs.
Great regular flour baked goods are also available and yes, Lakeview Bakery takes care not to cross contaminate their gluten free products.
