Just stopped bye since they are OPEN. Great service,. great food. And they bend over backwards to accommodate the client. WILL RETURN ( P.S. they have a patio ). Thanks for the experience.
Nobody greeted us when we walked in so it took forever to get a table.. even though the restaurant wasn't busy. I started with a caesar and it was made perfectly. I ordered the jalapeño bacon mac and cheese. The parmesan panko bread crumbs added great texture and overall it was so tasty. My friend ordered the butter chicken and although it (obviously) wasn't authentic whatsoever, it was still a great spin on a delicious dish! Overall, the food was good but service was disappointing.
The new menu at OJs is great -- and to whom it matters, the coleslaw is great now! Some menu items before the change could have been improved, and they're much better now.
Anyway, I've pretty much had everything on the menu by now, and have not been disappointed. Ever. My favourites are definitely the Kona Burger and Beef Dip, and there is something on the menu for everyone.
Between cheap house beers, ample TVs, great bartenders and incredible waiting staff. Go here. Now!
This is another great casual place for comfort food. I've tried both the Original Burger and Veggie Burger many times, and for some reason I like the Veggie burger a little bit more than the Original.
Service was great. Drinks were delicous. Food is pretty basic. I enjoy Oj's for having 2 side options with a meal. Their menu is always changing which is great too. Great patio in the summer which gets lots of sun! Sunday $5 ceasars and $4 pints!!
As a typical pub food, here is pretty good and reasonable. Modern and clean ambience to be in, awsome patio with sunshine, lovely and kind service.
Pulled pork is awesome. The pulled pork sandwich at OJ's is amongst the best in town, and the food prices are very affordable. Half price wine night is also a treat! Love this place, and the crowd is never the invisible lat syndrome morons.
Always delivers. I often go here for lunch, and am always happy with the food. The sandwiches and burgers come with two sides, so I never have to choose between fries or a salad is a great change.
Today though, I finally tried the Jambalaya, and it was fantastic. By far the best Jambalaya I've ever had in Calgary, even at the price ($15.50). Every single bite had either chorizo, shrimp, bacon, or chicken, or all of the above. The portion size was just right, so I left full, but not painfully so.
Had an awesome time in there last night for half price wine! Top notch server Alyssa
Nice renos, great atmosphere, good service (consistently) and great food options (including many healthy choices) at a fair prices.
