One of the best pizza places in town. Great little family run business and they are always very friendly. The pizza by the slice is delicious and if the slices are old or its just before closing they'll give you a deal or extra slice. Love it.

Really good pizza! Affordable. 8$ for two slices and a pop. I was hungry and it sure hit the spot. Good selection.
Absolutely amazing. Ordered gluten free pizza and hands down it was the best. Was reassured he understood gluten issues. Also ordered a regular crust pizza as well. We were visiting and I got told it was awesome. It's a hidden gem and when we visit Calgary again we will use again. Only down fall no delivery but don't let that hinder you cause you won't be disappointed with the product!!

I live in the SE but will travel all the way to Howies for pizza. Its the best pizza in town hands down. Sauce is amazing and the crust is fluffy and tastes like bread. So many toppings are put on it that I can't even eat a whole pizza from here and the leftovers the next day are delicious too. The owners Howie and his wife are super friendly every time I come in and even though its always busy they always have time to talk and make me feel welcome and they remember me. Its worth the trip for that kind of food and service.
Wow! I feel like I just had a Mystic Pizza experience. As a celiac, I am terrified of eating out, especially pizza where wheat flour is in the air and potentially anywhere in a pizzeria. Nevertheless, having heard good things about Howie's and bored with my own cooking tonight, I decided to take the plunge. My husband is never happy with a purchased pizza (too much crust, too little toppings), but he agreed to try it. I ordered the Greek with meat, gluten-free and my husband had a thin crust meat lovers. Not only were the pizzas incredibly pleasing to the eye, they were perfectly delicious, generously topped with good quality ingredients, nice and crispy on the bottom, not greasy and my gluten-free crust blew the doors off any crust I've ever tried to make or pre-made ones I've purchased. Howie's a great guy, the establishment is very orderly and clean and from ordering 'til pick-up was only 20 minutes (on a Saturday night no less). We give Howie's 10/10!
Great pizza, great service, great prices. Can't wait to go back. Like homemade, only better cause I didn't have to make it :). Even gluten free for my kids. Awesome.

Great Pizza!. I always stop by for slices during the day which are seemingly always always avaialble ($3 each or 2 for $5) and they have good types ready as opposed the the usual slice places where you can just get pepperoni, cheese or Hawaii. They usually have a beef and Bacon, Donair and a few others.
I tried actually ordering delivery for the first time and I was very pleased. I opted for they're spicy pizza and it was delicious. They're close by and my go to for delivery when I'm to lazy to cook dinner.
I have seen first hand the top grade meat and veggies that go on his pizza's. Also the dough is very soft and homemade. I'm not a pizza lover but his pizza's changed my opinion.
Tried Howie's for the first time last night. We had his new BBQ pulled pork pizza, holy cow, Its the best tasting pizza I have had. I will be there every Friday for my pie from now on.
