Today was my second visit to this restaurant. Not only did the staff remember me, but they also remembered what I had ordered and where I had moved from! The food here is fantastic - hard to believe it's a chain restaurant. I've tried some top-rated restaurants since moving to Calgary, only to be disappointed. Wok Box in Aspen has never let me down yet. Food is always fresh and tasty, the prices are reasonable and the service is amazing. It's my new favorite take-out place in Calgary!
Exceptionally (and surprisingly) Good!. We've been to the Wok Box in Aspen several times now. I was very hesitant to try it the first time, but I am so glad we did. We've tried several dishes, and we have always been more than happy. The food is fresh, well-portioned, always looks good, and is very, very tasty. Both the pho and the wonton soups are excellent. Ingredients .... whether it's the rice, noodles, vegetables, chicken, beef, shrimp ... are good quality. Fresh is the word, for sure. And the staff are especially friendly and accommodating. We both love coming here, having one of the many excellent fresh Asian dishes (from different cultures) and chatting with the friendly staff. And, thankfully, the place is very clean. Love it.
Good Food, Great Service!. My husband & I both enjoyed the meals. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. They assisted us in the selection since it was our first visit. I had Thai Red Curry and my hubby had the Pho soup with beef. We ordered the combo (drink and appetizer) and we both had the spring rolls which were good, but preferred the meal more. I did enjoy being able to have a choice in the meal selection between noodles, curry and soups etc. Then you can add a meat to the meals for $1 more. I felt the prices weren't unreasonable for the amount of food. Overall we enjoyed it and will eat there again when we're in the neighborhood.
Love this location! The food and service are amazing! The prices are a bit high but I realise they can't do much about that. I go for my usual Kung pao with veggies and chow mein.. Mmm so good!!
Great Workers. I left my wallet there during lunch and went back for it later that day, nothing was missing. Honest, hard working people there.

Me and my wife had dinner at this location today.I had singapore cashew chicken and noodle and my wife order padthai tofu and noodle we are really happy. food was really good fresh,my wife had best padthai we tried before some vietaname restaurant.

Singapore cashew chicken is really fresh and they have no issue subbing noodles with extra veg without extra charge. Staff is always friendly and happy for the business. Some of the negative reviews treat this place like a restaurant. While they normally go out of their way to bring food to your table, it's not a server style restaurant. You don't need to tip.
Yum!. I was SO happy to learn that we were getting a Wok Box in Aspen. I've never had a bad experience there since it opened. The employees are VERY friendly and efficient. I find it hard to believe that people are complaining about hip hop music and cleaning carts passing by.... It's not Mercato, it's Wok Box... An (essentially) fast food chain. I find the atmosphere perfect for the type of establishment it is. The Pad Thai with chicken and noodles is my favourite, and the wor wonton soup is excellent as well :)
Really?. There was a time that I was really into Wok Box. Then the food quality plummeted and prices remained very high. I got takeout from this location (curry). When I got home to eat it, I found it incredibly bland - so I put it in the frying pan and added more spice. Still was a big "Meh" but at least it became edible.
A noticeable trend lately seems to be skimping out on protein portions (at more than just this restaurant). If you pay for adding meat, you'd hope to get more than an ounce. But don't count on it.
I definitely won't visit this, maybe any Wok Box, again.
