I have eaten here twice so far while staying at the carriage house inn and I haven't had a bad item yet! The servers are quick, good vibes, food comes out fast and hot, and everything is delicious. Portion sizes are huge and the menu is very reasonable. They make their Caesar dressing in house and it's fantastic. Wings are 59¢ on Wednesdays and they have deals every day!!
Great little bar in the Carriage House Hotel, we had the share platter (wings, chicken tenders, natchos and pan fries all great), steak sandwich (tendar and good price) and pan sandwich (great mix of flavours on a delicious panini), with Corona. Waitress was awesome and so was the food. Recommend both hotel and the bar. Older crowd, good atmosphere.

My daughter and I stopped in for a bite at the Peanuts Pub in the Carriage House Inn. It was a very busy place for a Sunday afternoon. But I guess one of the girls who worked there was having a baby shower. Happy times!!
We ordered the sharing platter which included chicken wings, chicken tenders, nachos and fries. We dove into the fried immediately. They were hot and crispy McDonald’s like fries. Next I hit the nachos. I really liked that there wasn’t heaping mounds of them; just a good amount but every chip had cheese on it. And there were lots of jalapeños and onions and tomatoes as a topping as well. The chicken tenders were really good too. But there was only two of them; well, there was three but one was so small it really wasn’t a whole tender. The wings they were also small and they were kind of dry. Once we asked for some ranch dip it made them a little bit better.
The platter came with some small containers of salsa, sour cream and plum sauce. When we asked the waitress if we could have more, she happily brought back a large quantity of each. It was very appreciated. She was an excellent waitress for such a busy day.
This place was AWESOME... In a world where it was beginning to feel like customer service was no longer a priority, the staff here knocked it out of the park. I can't believe the bar they set for going above and beyond! Loved the portion to price ratio when it came to their food as well... Where else can you get a steak sandwich cooked to perfection with a Caesar salad and a bowl of fries for under $18. The staff though certainly were beaming rays of sunshine no matter what time of the day we went in.
We visit Peanuts for their wings night which are Wednesday's and Saturday's. They are quality wings and the beer is nice and cold. The poutine is quite good but not traditional poutine so be prepared for this. The gravy and the chunks of med-rare steak give this poutine a unique flavour and texture. Don't get me wrong, it's delicious and a fancy spin on a classic.
Kinda outdated decor. We went there to celebrate a friend's birthday. Food was mediocre. We ordered wings, fries and nachos and other that the nachos everything else was mediocre. Wait times were veeeeery long. Seems that the staff was new because it was getting trained but at time it took half an hour and some to get a pint of cold one... Half an hour for a tap beer? There were some good things. Patio was nice and it's kids friendly until 9pm.
