Best Austrian/German food. We had the weiß wurst and Wiener schnitzel and they were amazing. Friendly staff, great price and as soon as you come in you feel like you are in an Austrian stube.

I’ve been here many times over the last 20 years. From lunch to Friday night dinner and dancing to several New Years Eve parties. Food has always been great. Desserts are excellent. Service is fast and efficient. You get what you pay for here.

They didn't mention when I called that the dining room is only open on the weekends (and Friday?), but we were well served in the lounge, so no harm, no foul.  We tried both the veal and pork schnitzel and both were great.  I liked the red cabbage I made a request for on my plate and the spaetzle got an 'OK' review.  There weren't a lot of people in the place when we got there for an early supper at 6:30, but it filled up a bit more later in the evening.  The dinners came with a nice salad plate with different styles of salads.  I'm not sure if they offer desserts, but I didn't see any on the abbreviated menu they had in the lounge.  In any case, we were more than satisfied with our mains.  The lounge itself is standard fare - a large open room with a bar at one end and comfortable seating.  It was clean but otherwise unremarkable.  Austrian is not the same as German, but the Austrian Club certainly ticked my German home comfort food box with some delightful meals.

Great service, excellent food, wonderful atmosphere!

Some of the best schnitzel I've had and probably the best spaetzle I've ever had the pleasure of eating. Absolutely delicious! Alpine food at its best.

A Real Throwback to Great Comfort Food!. We took our daughter and her boyfriend here to celebrate their Graduation and enjoyed every part of the meal. Delicious Wiener Schnitzel, loved the Spatzle, and the pan fried potatoes. The Apple Strudel was fresh and delicious! We will definitely be back.

First time at the Austrian Club. Wife and I like schnitzel, spatzl and the rest of it. Really enjoyed it. I'll admit we were the youngest people in there by 25 years but thats neither here nor there. Reasonably priced, warm service and the food was really good. If you like German/ Austrian style food give it a try. $20 gets you a full meal and a great experience.

Great food, underrated place!. We went on a Thursday night and the actually dining room was closed, but we could eat in the lounge from the same menu, and kids were allowed in the lounge. The bartender was the only one serving when we arrived at 5:15 and service was great, but I hope they had someone else coming on because the place really started to fill up at 6 when we were leaving. We had the cheese and mushroom appetizer (I forget what it's called in German) and it was extremely tasty. And my husband, my toddler and myself all shared the Farmer's Plate for 2 and it was fantastic and HUGE! It was enough to feed us with a bit left over. The schnitzel and "pork chop" (kassler, I think) were especially good. We didn't care much for the dumplings and I wish the sauerkraut had been a bit crispier. The decor makes you wonder if you made the right choice, but all in all, it was fantastic food!

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!!. My dad and his partner invited us one evening to this place. Though the restaurant was closed that night we ended up in the lounge. We had the place all to ourselves! The man who attended us (who was Austrian) had the best sense of humor and a great knack for recommending the food and wine (or beer) for our dinner. I ordered the Normandy pork with apples (Wonderful!), my dad ordered the Wiener Schnizel (Great!), hubby ordered the rack of Lamb which he loved, my dad's partner ordered the Hühnerbrust "Maria Theresia”, in which they made to her specifications without gluten. The Sacher torte was to die for!!! (We found out is is made by Gunthers bakery, for which we made a speedy order for Christmas!) The lovely evening was followed by a walk through of the Austrian Club's facilities. The banquet halls are really nice and all the information you could want is provided for you immediately. Check out the web site!

I was here for the urbanspoon foodies night and had a chance to try authentic Austrian food. My friend and I decided to try the Bauernschmaus (farmers plate for two) as it allowed us to taste a little bit of everything. The meal started off with a salad which consisted of 4 different salads on a plate (potato, cucumber, cabbage and tomato. I thought everything was paired very well. The potato salad was rich and creamy and the lightness of the cucumber, acidity of the tomato and crunchiness of the cabbage helped to offset it. The platter for two was huge and we could not finish everything. My favorite in the platter was the wiener schnitzel. Although it was just a breaded and fried thin veal cutlet it was highly flavorful. My least favorite was the kassler and tyrolean dumpling. The kassler had a very smoky ham flavor but I found it to be too dry. The tyrolean dumpling had a very soft stuffing texture that I did not enjoy. I wished there were more vegetables included in the platter as halfway through I was looking for something to offset the heaviness of the meat. We finished off the night with a slice of sachertorte (famous Austrian chocolate cake). The cake was moist, had a very sweet chocolate glaze but the cake itself was not very chocolately. I thought the service could've been better in a few respects but it didn't ruin our night. It's a great place to try authentic Austrian food.
