Pizza was great but wings were overcooked and very dry (barely any sauce). I hate having to tip before tasting the food (It was delivered). Am pissed off having tipped well on top of delivery charge only to discover that the wings were inedible.

Eaten everything on the menu. You really can’t go wrong at this place. Pizza has a crispy crunchy golden brown thick layer of cheese. Under the cheese is a large layer of pepperoni and under the pepperoni is a generous slathering of a tangy tomato sauce. The donairs are some of the best I’ve ever had, don’t forget to ask for pickles and turnips they really kick the donair up a notch. Fresh vegetables, perfectly seasoned freshly carved meat, all served wrapped in a warm pita.
Can’t wait to eat here again!
Best delivery pizza I have had in Calgary 😊can take a lil while for delivery but worth the wait! Hearty! They don't skimp on the toppings! Sammy's house special and the donair pizza are the best!
We recently moved into the neighbourhood and have ordered from sammys several times. The portions are huge and prices are very reasonable .. we've had several types of pizzas, they have a very extensive pizza menu. They load up on toppings. We've also tried the chicken fingers and wings and donairs plus several sides. They have been consistently good which is very nice. The service is very friendly. I have no complaints and highly recommend them!
Good pizza, family owned and operated. haven`t tried them since they moved but ive always been a fan of their pizza. awesome clean place and friendly staff
We picked up 2 medium pizzas, one Canadian and one donair pizza. We are new to the neighbourhood and my SO had only ever tried the donair, and said it was really good. He was surprised when this time it had chopped lettuce on top, as was I because the website said the lettuce came on the side. Besides making it hard to heat up as leftovers, I thought it was really good.
I wish they'd make thin crust, then I'd truly be in heaven. Very good though, will order again.
sammys pizza is great. ordered sammys special, and spinach delight. for what ever reason the was peanuts in my pizza under the cheese. If someone allergic ate this it could be a very big problem. I would be more careful with he food prep.
There slogan doesn't lie, by far one of the best pizza places in Calgary. Highly recommend you to try it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are right when they say worlds greatest pizza! Sammy's is by far my favourite pizza. The ingredients are always quality, they never skimp on the toppings and the bake they get on the crust and cheese is always perfection. It may be a little pricey but its worth every penny.
Good pizza. A tad on the pricy side, will look out for coupons & specials for the next time.
Donair Special was one of the better pizzas I have had in a long time in Calgary. The Donair sauce, covered the pizza. I was worried it would be to sweet (like most sauce you would find in a wrap), but I was quite surprised. Just the right flavour. The Meat topping was plentiful and covered the pizza!
I will return.
