We love this restaurant. it has been our favorite for the past 6 years before the re-open as Cardinale. We stopped in last week when it opened under its new name for our anniversary and the serves was absolutely amazing (our sever was new as well and did a great job) and the food was perfect even through it was busy before a concert.
This place is a must go if you have never been. The staff is always amazing, food is some of the best in Calgary, prices are fair. By far our favorite place to go when we are kid free for the evening.
We've eaten here several times including a celebratory meal, pre concert dinner and a casual drop - and we've never been disappointed. The service has always been perfect; professional, friendly.
Had the most delicious dinner at Cardinale yesterday! Service was wonderful and everything came out relatively quickly. They had such great recommendations for drinks too!

The BEST Italian restaurant we've been to. We tried three different pastas and they were all AMAZING. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The cocktails were also stunning. We loved the cozy atmosphere.
The service was also amazing - Randy was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. The tiramasu was out of this world. Drinks, dinner and dessert was outstanding! Easily one of the best meals we've had EVER! 12/10 highly recommended!
Outstanding food and service!
I started with the prosciutto w/horeseradish gnocchi fritto. Then the gnocchi but customized because I was torn between the gnocchi and lasagna and Graham suggested this.

We went here to celebrate our engagement and Hannah our waitress made the evening absolutely wonderful, the food was super yummy, the drinks were gorgeous (they even have one to support a local charity!) and the rest of the staff was so kind. It’s a super cute, quaint little restaurant and the ambience felt cozy to us. Thank you for making our night special, we’ll definitely be coming back when we’re in the city! :)
Lovely space! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, they have a variety of amazing cocktails with many flavour profiles, the food is fantastic and the portions are awesome! Definitely will be back for more, Thanks so much to Graham for taking care of us! :)
Visiting the city, and craving for some Italian food last night. I’m so happy that I find this place! I will give this restaurant 10/10!!! That’s how good the food is. I’m not a person like to eat salads, but this place makes the amazing salads I’ve ever had( no joke) the dressing and texture added up perfectly.
The cocktail I had which recommended by Blake, it was really good too. He surprised me with a drink I wanted😊 definitely will come again if I’m in Calgary again.
Scrumptious Squid ink linguini with generous shrimp and scallop. Very nice staff, friendly and smiling. Will try the rest of the menu at next visits.
I enjoyed the place and the food here. The place is so warm and cozy, nice atmosphere. Their cocktails and pasta are really good. The sauce definitely made the noodles very tasty. Definitely a nice experience. They have good service too! Even if it's rush hour, they see to it that they cater to every customer--attentive and professional.
