Rich, creamy broth & tons of noodles. Toppings are minimal, but the bowls are very affordable. Add-ons (🥚💕) are also very reasonably priced & highly recommended (4/5).

This is our go to Ramen place in Kensington.  It is far better than any of the other places that I have tried in the area.  Without fail, the service is good, and the soups are outstanding.

Came here for lunch on a Sunday. Parking is bad here with limited and tight spaces - especially bad in winter. There was about a 13 minute wait for a table - quite a popular spot for lunch and the place is not very big.

Menu has got lots of good options for Ramen with the usual add-ons like egg and fish paste. I got the spicy tonkotsu - it's just your regular ramen with a generous dollop of spice; broth had good flavour and the noodles were al dente. Kids had the regular tonkotsu and they slurped it up. Wife had the Tonkotsu with Wonton - wontons were small and not worth the extra cost which was an extra $4 for 4 wontons.

All in all not a bad place on a cold wintry day. Will definitely come back but not before trying some other ramen places.

Price wise this place is great. With add ons it would equate to similar type restaurants. I have started to frequent here because the service is good and the ramen is decent.

This was the first place I have eaten ramen in Calgary that left me satisfied and my wallet from bleeding its heart out!! The food is amazing and no matter what I picked on the menu always hit the right spot. 5/5

Fan-friggin-tastic! A cold and snowy Friday morning brightened up by a bowl of rich broth and killer noodles. The Kanban (tonkotsu broth) was bold, deep and beautifully fatty with slightly spicy ground pork on top and a pop of cabbage. The Kuro-Ton was dark, nutty and full of robust charred garlic. My only criticism is that the slices of pork are super thin...like a slice of deli meat. I will definitely skip them next time. The service was friendly and good enough for my expectations but it’s the quality of the ramen that will keep me coming back.

This is the best ramen place in town.

Great service. Lots of parking.

Great price and selection. I can usually find a seat during non-rush hours.

Along 14st sits Muku, a small staircase will lead you up to a tiny narrow restaurant with limited seatings and limited bowls. Squished to the brim with as much tables as they could have possibly fit, with some bar stools along the counter to look into the kitchen where the magic happens. Shiki is hands down my favorite spot in Calgary for Ramen, but for authenticity- Muku seems to be riding on that line.

Tonkotsu - ($9.60) -
Tonkotsu Chasu Wonton - ($13.60) -

As the bowls arrived you can see that it had a top layer of fat that was already starting to become a film, good sign that it’s full of pork fat which means A TON of flavor. Which you can honestly taste, it’s full bodied and not overly salty. The noodles had a bouncy snap to each bite which is ideally what you’d want in your ramen bowl. Chasu pieces were generous and they were ridiculously tender as well. Bae had the bowl with wontons in it, he quite enjoyed how big and filling the pieces of wontons were! Only complaint would be that the bowls don’t come with soft boiled eggs. Aside from that, the prices are so worth the amount of food that comes with it, bowls were delicious and service was fast and friendly. I’d recommend coming here, but get here either before prime rush or take your luck for after, the front entrance is quite tiny and awkward to be waiting around for a seat!

Absolutely my favourite ramen restaurant in Calgary! My husband and I eat here just about every week. First of all, it is a very cute, small and cozy spot in Kensington, with a decent amount of parking. The staff here are incredible as well - so friendly and gracious, with great service. The spicy miso ramen as well as the chasu wonton ramen are our two favourites. All of the broth varieties have outstanding flavour, delicious on their own and even better with the spicy sriracha added. I also love that you can substitute the pork for chicken in any of the soups. The noodles are so fresh and delicious, with a nice bite. The amount of toppings and the portion overall is perfect, and I never leave hungry. All of their appetizers are also $4.90 - my favourite is the miso chicken katsu. It's two incredibly crispy and juicy chicken cutlets in their special miso sauce. Perfect for sharing, and not to be missed! Highly recommend this spot for a yummy, great quality bowl of ramen in a comfortable atmosphere.

Competitive price starting from 10 bucks without egg. Regular ramen is using baby corn instead of kernel corn. Kind of weird taste for their matcha mochi ice cream. Tiny and cozy place. Very good taste for their ramen broth. Excellent service and definitely worth for a visit!

If you want to avoid a lineup here, you better get there as soon as they open. It was my first time and the place looked popular. I went there in 20ish minutes after they opened, but still need to get my name listed. The place was clean and staffs were nice. I liked they have so many options to choose from for appetizer and you can make your meal(combo). Their price was reasonable for a ramen place. Also one thing that I most liked here was you can order ‘half size bowl’ and it was the best thing for me since I always have half of leftover every time I go to other ramen places. I ordered half sized spicy miso with sukiyaki rice and salad meal :) sukiyaki was delish. But the ramen looked kinda iffy 😢 Probably because I ordered half size so ingredients for it must be half too of course. So I get that. I think the best way you can enjoy their ramen is to build up your own with their various topping options (with extra) and I’d like to visit them and try again.

I love the ramen here. I ordered the combo menu, Spicy Miso + Unagi rice+ salad. I also ordered Miso chicken katsu. All of them were really good and a good price. During this pandemic, they also put separation between tables for the customers which I think it's great. Good service also. Of course I will come back here again.

Always wanted to try the ramen here and finally got a chance. Amazing ramen. Got the ramen combo with rice and salad. It was very good, tasty and very good price. Also lots of meats. Lots of ramen places only give you 2 pieces of so, I got way more than that. Extremely friendly staff. Will definitely come back for sure.

We love Muku!!!! The tonkotsu broth is SO rich. I've been going here for over 10 years and still see the same chef in the kitchen. To this day, I don't know his name, but hats off to him. Service is friendly, fast, and everyone is so respectful. I feel a deep respect to and from all the employees and food here. I love the noodle texture here more than some handmade shops in town. A lot of places try to overcomplicate and fancify ramen. This place keeps it simple and does it well. Packed with flavour. The selection of toppings is the best. Definitely order the combo with the sukiyaki rice and salad. I never think I can finish it but I always do! The salad is mysteriously irresistible. As a teen, my go to was the Sukiyaki Rice (full size). Now, it's the Spicy Tonkotsu. We love Muku!!!
