Oh my sooo delicious. I have never had such a delicious Caesar salad. The dressing was the best. And the pizza and crust done to perfection with delicious stringy cheese. Just thinking about it makes me want to go back. Our waitress was friendly and gave great advice about Calgary things to do. Beer crisp and cool. Very refreshing and fun, and delicious.
THE best pizza I have had in a long time,, great toppings, super cheesy, fantastic sauce. Next time I am in Calgary. I will definitely order from here. Loves it !!!!!
Best pizza in town!! Great service and excellent food!
Everything about Michael’s Pizza is amazing
It was an absolutely amazing dinner blocks away from downtown Calgary and a block from our hotel
I have been going here since the early 1980’s. One snowy night coming into Calgary and staying at the Palliser Hotel it was suggested to me to eat there. Sure enough the pizza was great. Spoke to Michael. Number 18 “ pepperoni, mushroom and green peppers “ a taste of home right here in Calgary. Now I live here and continue to meet friends and eat the same pizza. Why change pizza when it’s the best.
I don't usually like American-style pizza, and I only eat it once a year at best. These guys left me very happy. We ordered 3 pizzas for lunch for our office - Pepperoni, Vegetarian, and House Pizza. I've tried the first two, and I feel like I might come back there for my next cheat day.
We came here for lunch after shopping in the area. Street parking was plentiful, however we walked over from the core.
Partner said i had to try this place, where he frequented quite a bit when he was working in the area. And this guy looooves pizza
We sat by the window and there where quite a few interesting characters walking by, not the best side of town.
The place is quite small, and not fancy, but a hole in the wall.
Ordered the michael special pizza and lasagna. Pizza was delicious, however, I noticed the middle of the pie crust bottom got bit soggy by my second slice....I can't stand soggy pizza but it was so good too!?! (-1). They are quite generous with their cheese too. It's a very good pie, I'm quite torn. Lasagna was meh (-0.5).
So delicious! I drive into downtown Calgary just for their pizza!!! My fave is the number 19. I have introduced all my family and friends to this place, it truly is a hidden gem!
Accidentally stumbled on this place when the restaurant we tried to go to was closed. Good home-cooked pizza and pasta. 2 entrees and 1 cocktail came out to ~$34 (plus tip). Pizzas are thick and hearty. roughly $10-12 for an 8", $15-16 for a 10" and $21-22 for a 12". Cocktails are only $6.75! Meatballs were delicious and only $1 each to add to pasta. Will be going back again to try the homemade cheesecake. Wasn't super busy on a Friday night. I hope they stick around for a longtime.
