I've been here once on a weekend brunch and I'm glad I made a reservation as it was busy when we arrived. My first impression of the establishment was great, high ceiling, lots of windows and I think there is another floor for additional seating. I tried their eggs Benedict, Waffle & Chicken and they taste amazing, the egg was cooked to our preferences, but it lacks seasoning which was a bit of a let down. It almost seemed like the dishes were aimed for seniors? Regardless, I may visit here again to try other dishes in the menu if I happen to visit the area.

Edit: My husband and I went back to Elbow Room to give their new menu a try and we definitely weren't disappointed this time. We had the tiger prawns to start, he ordered the striploin steak and I ordered the lamb shank for our entrees, and had the chocolate mousse for dessert. Big shout out to our server Dailyn for the night, who took great care of us, and recommended the prawns, lamb and mousse for dessert - they were all really awesome! Personally my favourites were the prawns and steak. The portions were also generous and we left stuffed and satisfied. Thank you chef Ryan for inviting us back and Dailyn for the fantastic service. You can tell that the team behind the restaurant really cares about their customers. You've definitely changed our minds, and we hope to visit again in the future :) -- We went with a large group and ordered several small plates to share, and both of the elbow room experience meals. The small plates were pretty good, and the land & sea experience was also not bad. The char siu experience was terrible and I would definitely not recommend it. The portions were also quite small for the cost. We left still hungry even after spending about $50 per person. Service was quite good tho.

Really enjoyed the food, service and the location. Servers are very good and helpful. There's also a roof top patio... Drinks, you should stick with regular wine and else. Avoid cocktails (Moscow mule for instance), but definitely not a deal breaker. Very enjoyably place. Britannia needs more places like that.

Kudos to the manager here for operating this place very well. While we had made reservations here...some folks stayed beyond the usual allotted time so our table wasn't ready. The manager here accomodated very well and made sure to check in with our group multiple times. The service here was good, chefs are funny indivudals (you feel a sense of community yet organization in the kitchen). The food itself was very delicious..from apps all the way to desserts. The wait time for food was great as well as it came in good timing. there are two floors to this place and can accommodate different sized parties. Reservations highly recommended though..it gets very busy.

wow, what an amazing meal! Fantastic experience, from impeccable service to very well thought out menu. We were 2 couples and got to try 9 different dishes on the menu and couple of desserts. Bison; prawns; chocolate mousse; bananas foster on waffle are must tries from the menu, but really I would order again every single dish, everything was absolutely delicious!! Great spot with lovely atmosphere, definitely a new addition to favourite places to eat in Calgary. Will have to come back to also check out brunch here and patio looks amazing when we're back in that season.

Got the Lamb meatballs, lobster pasta, and flatiron steak. The lamb meatballs were good and had a tasty sauce. The lobster pasta was a little too cheesy for me so I didnt like it as much. The flatiron steak was good though with a nice sauce. The riesling was a bit dry and not as sweet but the make america grape again was really good! I love the look of the restaurant. It is very modern and fancy looking. After dinner you can even visit village icecream. Also the staff is very helpful and friendly.

A lot of attention to detail at this restaurant. A stylish but comfortable vibe. The food is more family style or tapas like. Great for sharing. And it was excellent. From the prawns to the Bison all if the plates were delicious. The service was great as well. Definitely going to go back to try more.
