I heard plenty of good reviews about this place, so I went here a few days ago and gave it a chance. It was packed with people! The place looks simple, clean, and looks like an ordinary restaurant to me. I also heard some weird background music but I didn't really pay much attention to it. Anyway, I heard about the "Nuttela Latte" before and how good it was. I tried it and I was not disappointed, though I haven't tried any of the pastries, but judging by the taste of the latte I will be back soon to try more. 5/5!
Nice coffee spot down in Stephen avenue. Cosy interior for one to go after a long work day. Had the Nutella latte which was amazing. There wasn't a lot of selection of dessert items when I went a maybe cuz I went close to 6pm and they were closing at 7.
Deville Coffee on Stephen Avenue is a popular cafe in Downtown Calgary, that is possibly most famous for their Nutella lattes. I quickly ordered a vegetarian burrito, served with chips, and a soy latte, which cost $14 together. While my wrap tasted delicious, I couldn't justify its cost(~$9). My soy latte was also good, with just the right texture (not too thin/thick). The atmosphere at Deville is really great for social meets, whether with friends, SO or coworkers. However, I don't recommend working here, especially if you require an outlet for a laptop or tablet.

the latte was good, most definitely! for the price paid, though, i would have to say i wish it was a little bit bigger. the staff are nice and the general ambience is very calm. lighting is just right, background music is audible but nonintrusive. if you're feeling a bit under the weather, it's a nice place for a chat.
in addition, i've yet to try the famous nutella latte, so i think it's worth paying another visit.

If you're feeling indulgent the Nutella lattes are exceptional. I prefer to take mine half sweet.

Really nice coffee shop on Stephen Avenue. Their americano is really good. I like going here with friends to chat on a sunny day. They have big windows.

Perfect cappuccino presented beautifully with a design on top. Loved the atmosphere, very modern. Some background music but wasn't too loud. I will definitely be back to try the Nutella Latte
The nutella latte is THE best. Never had it anywhere else before and I love it. Their sandwiches are also quite good. Friendly staff. It does get really busy during peak hours and can be hard to get a table.

Nice to find a coffee shop that is off Stephen Avenue mall. The cortado I ordered was tasty and hot, and served with the oat milk that I like.
I also ordered an oatmeal cookie, and was surprised and pleased that it included a few walnut pieces, which added to the texture.
On a personal note, apart from the food and snack offerings, I enjoyed the opportunity to speak French with one employee and Spanish with another.
They were servicing their coffee machines when I visited so couldn't order some of their hot beverages but the service was great regardless. A great place to meet friends or have a meeting or work on that personal memoir you've always wanted to write.
We went for a short walk from our hotel in search for a hot drink and a bite to eat, finding Deville was perfect!
We opted for a Hot Chocolate, Caramel Latte and 2 Breakfast Brioches. The drinks were super yummy and hard to choose from their large tea menu and more.
The inside was nice and inviting, I can imagine it being a great place to be post covid!
Was walking Stephen Avenue with the family and stopped in here for coffee. I would definitely recommend. The people that worked there were nice and it was clean and surprisingly spacious inside. My vanilla latte was delicious. I added some cinnamon to it which made it all the more delicious.
It was a calm environment, very relaxed and coffee was amazing. Had a vanilla latte. Ladies there were very friendly and accommodating.
Amazing customer service & amazing food. I’m not a coffee person and I can gladly say their coffee is delicious! (Not too sweet and not too bitter).
Love this place. Been coming here for years. Always busy but pretty quick. Try the Nutella Latte!
