Dropped by for the first time since ownership changed. I came at 2:55 and she still offered me the lunchbox special although I had to eat it take out . Was very impressed with the quality of food for the price . Probably the only Korean restaurant that doesn’t drown their meat in sugar. Definitely will go back to try more things and will add more photos and reviews then *update* Went back again for lunch LOVE THIS PLACE I really really hope they succeed The two ladies that work here do not speak English very well. So it is VERY important to clarify your orders and what you want . I brought my son with me and he devoured an entire lunch box He’s seven. The lunch boxes are huge! They allowed him to substitute the gyoza for more edamame beans and the salad for miso soup. The salad has a soy sauce based dressing - it’s not even a dressing ... it’s like a vinaigrette without the oil. It’s a typical Korean dressing but not sure it will appeal to the western palate. I think after I become more of a regular customer...I may make a suggestion to them to offer a different dressing . The gyoza is store bought and I hate to give them any kind of negative comment... but tastes pretty awful. However, they will substitute it out if you request and maybe If enough people ask to substitute the gyoza out ... they may just take it off completely! They are genuinely grateful for your business and really show it. It’s such a rare thing to experience in today’s fast paced food industry. The actual food that’s cooked on site is amazing!!!! The chicken Katsu is lightly battered and juicy and full of flavour . The Bul Gogi and galbi were nicely marinated and such a good price . Seriously For the quality of food , service and quantity... It is a steal!!!! The thing with the food here, the women were singing as they were cooking at one point . They make the food with love and care and you can taste it . I miss my mom. It’s not the same as what my mom use to make ... But after I left there I had this warmth in my tummy like how it felt after my mom made me a meal. My son told me it was the best meal he ever had I will go back there weekly and rave about these guys For as long as I can.

One of the best Korean restaurants in yyc! They have a cozy and cute interior and taste was even better. The place also treats so well with a kind service. Chicken katsu is my favourite pick and recommendation if you don’t know what to get

Must try!! The owner makes his own sauce for the katsu, and the texture is nice and crispy. I would pick this over the other menu items I've tried so far! Moon, the owner, is also super sweet and entertaining. But he's the only one on the floor. You may have to wait a little if there's more customers.

On top of creating amazing food, this place has the most friendly owners who go above and beyond with everybody that walks in! ALSO, it's plants galore in there so I dare you to spot the one fake plant in the restaurant.
