If it wasn't for the view out the window of Fairview St. in Burlington, I would think I was in Halifax having my donair (a Canadian east coast twist on the traditional doner kebab on a pita). So, just close your eyes and use your imagination. On second thought, don't close your eyes, because these are the real thing of beef, sweet sauce, onions and tomato, including being messy. I like adding hot sauce and maybe cheese to my donairs; there isn't much in the way of different toppings, just quantity. There are only about a half dozen tall stools at counters to eat at; don't expect to be able to sit down to eat. It looked to me that most of the business was take away. I can't say anything about the pizza, as I haven't tried it. You can get a decent pizza in a number of places, but a real Halifax/east coast style donair. This is the place for that.
Very good authentic Halifax style tasting donairs. Only place west of New Brunswick I will eat donairs at. There have been other places around for donairs but they are terrible. Every time I am in Burlington this is my go-to place. Place is very small with only a window counter and 1 small table to eat at but the food is definitely worth it. Staff is always friendly. They don't get a 5 because they are not open Sundays which is usually when I am in town.
My friend highly recommended Halifax Donair when I'm in Burlington. They made their own in house sauce on their Donair. I really enjoyed it for the first time. I would come back for sure.
The best pizza in Milton!
THE BEST DONAIR'S AROUND. The only donair that does not leave you with bad after taste. The owners are friendly and cheerful. This place was recommended to me by a friend and I will recommend it to anyone I know. If you are ever in the area don't miss this hidden gem.

The deep fried pickles foe 5.00 were crunchy and the dip added nice flavor.

Order inside whenever I'm in Milton. I'm from Edmonton and the Donair scene is on point there. These guys are doing it better. Just tried home delivery and what a fantastic job they do. The packaging alone is a marvel. Can't be cheap to do that for every order. What a pleasure to have had this delivered so beautifully. Will be a lifetime customer for sure!
The grocery home delivery service is outstanding! The delivery drivers are amazing and texted my phone 1 hour before arrival. I frequent the take out store also ( donair subs👍) but the $7 next day delivery to Mississauga is a great deal. Packaging is immaculate, complete with insulated bubble wrap and a reusable ice pack. I highly recommend 👌 Well done! A 10/10. I am a former resident of Halifax and this is a real taste of back home. Like a Donair Oasis here in Ontario.
These guys make the best donairs and this family run business is proof that really great service comes from true passion and the heart! I picked up my donairs very close to closing time and these hard working folks were probably there all day. Did they appear exhausted, tired and weary when we arrived? No. Were they laughing and smiling and making us feel welcome? Yes! We’re they fun and playful and full of good humour and jokes? Yes! Did they go the extra mile and give me “extras” because it was my birthday? Yes! Thank you for making my day extra special and for caring, I’ll be back soon!
My boyfriend and I drove from Caledon,Ontario to Halifax Donair and let me tell you we were absolutely blown away. From the first greet until we said goodbye the waitstaff was incredible. It was worth the drive, it was worth the 5-7 minute wait. The gentleman Jim was a treat! I highly recommend this place to anyone who who enjoys juicy flavourful meat 10/10.

Oh.My.Goodness, this family donair shop blows me away. The food portions are so giving and the customer service is truly unreal! My friend is from PEI and is super picky when it comes to her donairs. She purchased a medium sized donair and couldn't believe the amount of meat on her pita. She also thought the sauce was on point.
As for me, I ordered the donair nachos which I couldn't eat until a few hours later and ended up having to re-warm them expecting that they would be slightly soggy. After 15 minutes in the oven, I couldn't believe how crisp they stayed. The nachos were INCREDIBLE and definitely a great recommendation by the entire family who seemed to all be helping out in the kitchen. Great recommendation from the kids.
I cannot wait to go back and perhaps try the donair subs which I heard were also very popular. Worth the drive from Stoney Creek

Very friendly (as always) sooo yummy! After I ordered my dinner, I walked to the back to the store - the mac and cheese - 🤤 so good! A bunch of cool stuff to take home

I went to school in NS and donair was the quintessential fast food in the 80s for a busy university student. After moving to the GTA for work, I was so happy to discover Halifax donair in Milton and I am a regular patron. Food is great with reasonable pricing and quick friendly service. The meat is tender, the veg is fresh and the pita has a nice bite texture. The secret ingredient is the donair sauce. Looking forward to my next donair fix soon.
