Ordered combo #1 and #10. Staff was friendly, restaurant clean. Chicken fried rice was cooked to perfection, I found it a bit on the bland side but still good. House chicken balls were VERY good. Eggrolls not to our liking, texture was of paté and very little spices. Overall, fresh meal. Others may like the eggrolls more than myself.
Excellent food and excellent service! I especially liked when I ordered the sweet and sour chicken. It has the same sauce as traditional sweet and sour chicken balls but with way more meat, instead of just mostly batter like you get with chicken balls. The chicken fried rice was tasty too. We will definitely will be going back!
After a long day my partner and I were craving Chinese food. She read somewhere about a place on the Bedford highway that was awesome so we decided to give Wongs Wok a chance.
Our first few minutes seemed a bit awkward. The restaurant was silent. We ordered two combos, pan fried dumplings, and sweet and sour chicken. Frank (the owner/operator/chef) tried to convince us it was far too much food but we persisted. Much to our pleasure. He brought out the dumplings first and GOOD GRIEF. I'd consider myself an amateur dumpling connoisseur and these were among some of the best I've had. The rest of the food was equally as phenomenal. I ordered the Mongolian chicken and was thrilled.
We also had some awesome chats with Frank and he definitely seemed to warm up to us. We will be back.
