The food was so good, stuffed eggplant Delicious. The pineapple chicken curry bowl yummy! the staff was friendly really liked the place. going back for lunch.. not that you care but i need to use 140 characters or it wont accept my reveiw. long story short YUM
Can't say anything about the meat options but kimchi fries are served in huge portions and can easily feed up to four people. Tofu sub is probably the best I've ever had within Winnipeg. Friendly staff and cute patio. They have shorter "winter hours" which kind of continue into the spring so unfortunately I usually cannot get home from school in time but if you make it in time, absolutely try the kimchi fries.
I ordered the pork hash sisig and the massaman curry. Portions were huge and the taste was amazing. Probably the best sisig in winnipeg. Highly recommend trying this place.
Location was interesting and once you walk inside the subtle green/ninja theme was quite refreshing, including the framed ninja star drawings on the walls and the cool hanging ninja faces... anyhow, I had to try the pad Thai because I enjoy doing the comparison thingy and standard dishes. I was quite happy as the noodles were juicy and full of flavour. Not dried out and pasty as I have encountered in some other places. I had a medium heat and they nailed it. The flavour was a little strong once I got to the bottom of the dish. Also tried the kimchi fries and thy were quite good. Prices were totally reasonable and would bring me back lauded with the quality and customer service. Give them a try, I did, and I'll be back!!!
I was skeptical at first but I was pleasantly surprised! The food came out quick and tasted great! The desserts and pastries are to die for!
I often crave their kimchi fries with pulled porn and that shinobi burger is crazy. The basil in the patty... the teriyaki... So good. I would recommend trying those two items out first and going from there. :D
First time at the Green Ninja and it was an experience. Upon recommendation, I had the kim chi fries with my Green Ninja burger. I also tried some dim sum dishes as well. The shrimp dumplings were a little soggy but no worries. The steamed pork bun was HUGE but there was way more bun than pork. The pork was tasty, I just wished there was more of it. The burger itself was amazing! The sweetness of the pork in the burger was a nice compliment to the tartness of the kim chi fries with its pulled pork, spicy mayo and green onions. The staff was helpful and courteous and made us feel right at home. For dessert, I tried each flavour of the cake balls. Nothing out of the ordinary but the price was a little high. But please, do not let that hinder you from going down to the Green Ninja and trying it for yourself! I highly recommend it, and I look forward to the next time I drop in to try something new from their extensive menu!
Ordered food through Skip the Dishes. Their Chowmein was very tasty compared to the chowmeins we had in Winnipeg. I love how accomodating they are (because we want the soft noodles and not the crispy ones). I also ordered their sisig, which was alright for me. If you want -a variety of asian food in one restaurant, this place is a go-to!
This is truly a hidden gem in Winnipeg. The atmosphere is bright and fun, the service is quite good, and the food is also very good. The beef in our beef and broccoli was a little tough, but the pad Thai was delicious and the pork buns were absolutely outstanding. I will definitely be back.
I've been here a few times and I always get the spicy tofu bahn mi with pulled pork kimchi fries. I'm not a big fan of tofu but this is something to try out. I've also tried the pad Thai but it's nothing special compared to other places. Overall I would come back for the spicy tofu bahn mi since I haven't came across any place that does it.
