Love the wings.love the breakfast there ....i go to this place twice a week. Good pricing good seating area and lots of options to choose from. There is only one time that the server at the bar was very rude to us as if she was bother when we walked in and kept chatting with her fellow bartender instead of bringing us more beer
I love come here during wings night! A whole pound of wings for $6? Yes please. It's great value, especially during Tuesday nights after a busy work day.
We are always here for wings and beers! Most days the lounge is packed and busy, especially on wing nights! However, even when almost every table is occupied, the servers seem to keep up and are able to serve in a reasonable amount of time. I have no complaints or bad experiences. The servers are great - friendly and always making sure their customers are happy with their orders!
This was my second time going to a Smitty's Restaurant. The buffalo wing tasted great, but they were quite small. They would be excellent if they were a little bigger.
My friend ordered Pancakes and got more than what he was expecting. The pancakes tasted good.
The place looked clean and comfortable.
The pricing was definitely an up for the chicken wings. I would definitely come back for more chicken wings here next time.
Went here for breakfast and we had a good service. Server is friendly, food is yummy. Best smitty's in town
Tues and Thurs Wing Night! $0.44/wing!. Tuesday and Thursday wing nights at Smitty's...a favourite of many in this city. Compared to other places, at 6 wings for $2.64 (which works out to $0.44 each), this is ridiculously cheap! The wings are smaller but I don't mind and come breaded or naked (non-breaded) with quite a few flavours. There's hot, killer, cajun, salt & vinegar, electric honey, bbq, salt n pepper, sweet chili, lemon pepper, dry and a few more. The "killer" which is their spiciest wing was super lame...so Smitty's is not the place for spicy wings at all. The killer flavour was more salty than spicy - boo! I loved their salt 'n pepper flavour as it goes well with my beer - Keith's Red for $4.55. The sweet chile was pretty good without being too sweet.
Service here is hit and miss...not sure if they were understaffed or just slow but it takes a little time to get refills and additional wing orders.
This place gets pretty busy past 7 pm as there was a line up waiting to get into the lounge. Granted there was a Jets game on as well as being a Thursday night.
The lounge looks way nicer than the Grant and Pembina location as the decor is newer. It's still a sports bar feel to it but everything looked clean and nice.
But you definitely can't beat this place for value for beer and wings. Casual feel where you can hang out with a group of friends.
