we happened there because the restaurant we had planned on was suddenly closed. this place is no elegant dining, but that is not what they are trying to sell you, they are selling you really tasty Indian food.
none of us had been before and the girl working the counter allowed us to sample a few dishes; all were tasty.
they have a large selection of sweets (hence the name) and also a bunch of ready to serve up dishes. we went for the styrofoam take-out container combo; you can choose either 1, 2 or 3 currys and the price goes up but honestly for the amount of food the price is so reasonable. the 1 curry combo is $9. the combos come with rice and a drink or samosa. we tried the butter chicken, saag paneer, chicken korma, veggie samosa and they were all really tasty. i'd highly recommend ordering naan as they whip it up fresh in the back; portion easily feeds two people. their naan is not as thick as i am use to but the flavors are spot on. the samosa in my opinion is large and has GREAT flavor, not just stuffed with a bunch of bland potatos.
the atmosphere is much more for a take-out clientele as there are a few two person tables and no washroom to use.
GO, you wont be disappointed.

I go in desi's and eat their Samosas all the time. They are very addicting samosas. The wedges and fried chicken is a combo they offer for a cheaper price, instead of buying them seperately. I bought them as a combo. The buttermilk chicken was delicious, but the wedges taste like their wasn't much effort put into them. I only like there french fries. It's very crispy, except the wedges because they taste okay. I don't order there pizza alot because the sauce in it dries out fast. I would usually prefer them fresh from the oven. Can't keep my hopes up for a decent price pizza slice for a dollar and plus tax.
Everyone in this city has to try the butter chicken pizza. It's unique and tasty also the prices are fairly decent too.

Thanks for ur review as I researched ur comments from my employees I understood that u were trying to use a groupon token where u were already given 50% discount so our employes were trying to explain u that u if u are using groupon u r not eligible for any other discounts as u already got 50% off by paying only $10 for food worth of$20 and u get very upset own that and started hitting our glass which is not acceptable and my staff refused to give u service and ask u to exit or they will call police for damaging our property and also we have refunded u full money later through groupon
