Great service and great food. Never disappointed My favourite are the noodles in peanut butter sauce. Excellent
Will definitely recommend to others
I just don't understand all the bad reviews here on Zamato, especially when google reviews are so positive... something smells fishy. I rarely review restaurants, but I felt compelled to in this case. The noodles are AMAZING! You can tell they are hand made, and the broth is flavorful, some of the best beef broth I've had. The meat portions are smaller, but I can not complain. What is there tastes amazing. The soups are very filling as well. I can not eat a whole bowl in one sitting. I definitely recommend this place. I have gone 3 times and the quality is always wonderful, and everyone is friendly!
Food is good, limited choice but I always go back for the beef curry!
Its a small restaurant but could be better arranged. They have tables in random places and mismatched chairs.
Staff is friendly.
I am so pleased with my meal and experience at Dancing Noodle. I have heard great things from different chef's the in the culinary community in Winnipeg, so I was very excited to head there with my family.
We arrive right at 5:30 PM, and we were one of two tables.
Menu is small and simple, but so flavourful. Between the four of us we each had different items. Once we received them, we instantly had to share and try each others dishes. Now, my kids are 7 & 9, and they are used to trying different food. The broth was a little spicy for them (but still enjoyable - they kept eating), and they each had one that the employee told us was not very spicy.
The portion sizes were big and appropriate the pricing. So, there definitely is value. We all couldn't finish our bowls, as they are quite big and packed with yumminess. So, we took our leftovers home. I am currently enjoying my leftovers - and it is still as good as it was in the restaurant.
The restaurant is small. Very much like a Chinese Diner. Service is what you would expect. The only reason why I am taking half a star off - is purely for service. A simple quality check and offer to top up water would have definitely made this experience 5 stars - for now I think they for sure deserve the 4.5!
Homemade noodles, flavourful broth, delicious meat....exactly what I was craving!!!
Small hole in the wall, girl at the counter was helpful, friendly and energetic, the food was quick and tasted amazing, the homemade noodles are to die for. Will quicky become a regular stop for me!
It was delicious. The noodles were perfect and the broth was tasty. I added more beef since I was hungry but probably didn't need too. Definitely going again.

After eating so many times at Winnipeg Flying Noddle House, I thought I'd try the other Chinese place with homemade noodles. It was good, but not great. I ordered the same dish I'd usually get at the other place (fat round noodles, ground pork, peanut butter) and it was tasty. The broth wasn't amazing, although things improved when I added the spicy chili oil to it.
All in all I enjoyed it, but it was not spectacular. And it certainly isn't nearly as good as the Winnipeg Flying Noodle House.
My first impression of this place is that it is very small. There is literally 3 tables. But im looking past that because the noodles are amazing! If you are looking to try homemade noodles, you have to try this place!! Ive tried lots of noodle places in winnipeg but the noodles here are different. I would give it five stars but i didn't really enjoy the small space they had in the restaurant.
This place has the best noodles I have had in 14 years. They are reminiscent of the classic Beef noodle dishes from Taipei and have the perfect consistency of chew that you would expect from a kitchen in Taipei, the Chinese mainland or a hawker stand in Singapore.
As soon as I walked in the smell of the deep rich broth and tea eggs invade your senses. You know you have found the right place when this occurs. This is truly a great VW you if you need to taste of south east Asia. The chilli oil is strong and they only use a small amount but if you have issues with heat I suggest asking for none but I love it.
Five stars out of 5
Went here for lunch right when they opened and it was already full. This place is quick, and efficient in its service while supplying amazing fresh noodles. I would recommend this place to others, my only criticism was that there were no options with chicken.
Fantastic well seasoned noodles and broth!!! It was my first time there and I am absolutely going to be a regular. Got the deluxe Lanzhou beef noodle (the one with the egg), spicy beef dumplings and Beef Lo Mein (one with broth separate). Loved it!
The following was ordered Nov092021
* Spicy Anhui Beef Noodle Soup with Rice Noodles
* Handmade Dumplings - Beef
Shrimp & Bok Choy Pork
Shrimp & Fugus Pork
Had a real difficult time figuring out how to rate these disches. The "Spicy Anhui Beef Noodle Soup with Rice Noodles" was not rice noodles. Better then when I had it when they first opened but I can say I would be hard pressed to order this again and may do so insisting on rice noodles again.
The dumplings were good, things you cannot stop eating. My first impression was good but had heart burn after(maybe ate too many!). Had them again for lunch next day, good but needed to use Sweet chilli sauce and I tell you, this kicked it up and it they are now one of my favorites. The value was good for what you get, the quality was ok (could always be more shrimp?), consistency I will save for my next review.
I did post previous reviews for this and finally settled on this. The dumplings by far were the star of this order and I would not hesitate in ordering any of these again. As for the soups, I will probably try to order something else next time, hopefully I will get the "rice" noodles?.
Cheers!
Food was good but nothing special. The noodles were nice and fresh and good texture. I enjoyed the dumplings in chili oil the most. The broth of the soup was a pretty basic beef broth. The Dandan mein was decent. The burrito was nothing special.
Hole in the wall restaurant. It doesn't have much when it comes to decor, but the food was pretty tasty.
We did the Lanzhou noodles and the meat dumplings. Both were very good and I would have it again. The broth for the noodles was decently spicy.
Service was friendly, but not the most polished.
Parking: there is some in the lot but it's a very small shared parking lot.
The noodles here were okay, but adding the chilli on the table made the meal very good. Like from a 6.5 to an 8/10. It's pretty good meat stock, decently seasoned although it's not as rich as I was hoping. There wasn't enough meat either.
Don't expect much from the rest of the establishment though, the (young) lady serving did the absolute bare minimum (think working in your parent's restaurant when you'd rather be out with your friends). Not bad, just perfunctory. I'd go back if I was in the area, but that's it.
Food was 10/10! I have tried almost everything in their menu and they never dissapoint! If you want authentic tasting noodles, definitely a must try! Staff was also very nice.
Amazing noodles, and the staff are very friendly. Service during the pandemic has been great, and the takeout portions are as huge or bigger than dine-in. I had to use a mixing bowl!
