Amazing food best Greek salad in town.....everything is home made just like it used to be including the hash browns and fries...like a Cheers atmosphere minus the beer!!!

You are not always right...lol. And her quaint straight-to-the-point resturant full of her awesome character is refreshing to eat in and always full. She's such a hard working woman, does more than most and makes the best food for an affordable price. I was a regular here for 7 years before i moved out of province. A real neighborhood gem. Great breakfast and the fresh burgers are spectacular. The owner is also the cook and has a charm that brings you back for more. Very reasonably priced and great value
Awesome place, great food and the owner is a great hostess, server, cook, cashier etc! Myself and three friends each ordered a sandwich or buger (club house, chicken burger and veggie burger) and shared a fries... EVERYTHING was great. I work across the street so I will for sure be back.

Old School. I love this diner.Karen is an amazing person,who is serving one of the best breakfasts in the peg. Eggs,bacon and hash browns are perfect every time,and I have been eating here since it opened 20 years ago.
Personal service, great food and prices. I go to Wannabees for breakfast often. The food is always great, and Karen remembers you and your order -- rare today. Can't beat the prices, or the comfortable setting. A favourite.

Not to far from where I live. Burger (sometimes 2) and (multiple cups of) coffee are my favourite items there. The owner is super friendly and inviting. Both are a perfect mix for a diner in the community. Only problem are the unusual hours. If they were longer I would be there more often then I already am.
Drove around this place for a couple of weeks until we finally caught it open. Worth the wait, great food, comfortable down home place, the owner who does it all is great at it! Go check it out and enjoy awesome food, at inexpensive price
Classic. I have not been here for lunch, but have been coming back for years and years for the best breakfast in town. The hashbrowns are shredded and amazing. Hearty portions. Refills on coffee can be overlooked if the place is busy which it frequently is. Fantastic all around.
My daughter and I had breakfast here while my wife got her hair cut. The food was affordable and good. I don't think you can go wrong stopping at this small dinner.
Our story wasn't all that representative but I'm not sure if the two older men one table over paid for our meal or if the waitress shared their tip but it was really great.

Been here a few times now and the owners are always friend and food quality consistent. Their chili burgers are delicious and chili fries come in a large portion size. Under priced in my view.
Amazing service and great atmosphere. Moved back to Winnipeg in December and with restrictions lifted my roommate and I can enjoy a nice sit down traditional breakfast.
This is one of the only diners left in Winnipeg with any credibility. Simply the most welcoming and comfortable spot for breakfast or lunch in the city. Unpretentious, genuine, straight up, down to earth and highly attentive owners running the place make this the go to breakfast spot.
Passed this place 1,000 times and never went in. Finally did and I'll be back. They put a slide of swiss under the egg for their eggs benedict, which were fantastic. Shredded hash was awesome as well; perfect balance between crispy and moist. Service was great too, my coffee was never empty. A Winnipeg gem. It's cash only fyi.
The Bacon 🥓 Cheese Burger 🍔 and side of fries 🍟 was delicious cooked to perfection 🤤 I'll bee seeing you guys again real soon
