Pad thai is good here. Makes me want to splurge on their menu everytime I pass by. This is a good place to dine with friends and family. I highly recommend it!
Came here with some friends because our main go to was closed. I have only come here for Vietnamese food in the past but noticed the signage has changed and so have the owners and is now called Asia Palace.
It seems they still offer the same Vietnamese dishes as they did in the past but also have a Sichuan menu as well. If anyone has not had Sichuan food before, generally, most of the stuff is pretty spicy.
Thinking we'd be a bit adventurous, we went ahead and ordered a bunch of dishes. As expected, they were extremely spicy. Well beyond what I could tolerate, but from my friends view who actually is from Sichuan, this stuff was legit! Not sure if I can rate this well, as I had a hard time eating this stuff, but I guess it is technically my fault for not being able to appreciate it.
Service was attentive throughout and they did warn us that the food is spicy. If you've never had Sichuan food, I suggest you try only one dish.
I ordered delivery via skip the dishes for supper tonight. I had the pad Thai and crab ragoon it was really good and there was enough food for at least two people if not three (or for lunch tomorrow ☺️). The prices were very reasonable and I would recommend.
I regularly come here because it is close to where I live. It just sucks when there's a party because there's not much space and it can be very loud. Food is good and staff are friendly.
Have been to both this location and the one on McPhillips. I love their food here, it's delicious. My only complaint is, when they have a party going on, that they should put a sign on the window telling other customers that they won't be "open to the public" for the day, and that they will be focusing on serving the function that booked the place instead.
Huge Bubble Tea and Good lunch specials. Went there yesterday for lunch - I had crispy chicken and my partner had a porkchop with special sauce. Both quite nice. Chicken crispy on outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The young coconut and pandan bubble tea was good and the size is the biggest I've seen. The service was very friendly and you can't beat the price - the total came to $21 for the everything including the bubble tea ($5.50 - pandan is a premium flavour on the menu). Overall a very pleasant experience.
Best bubble tea in the city... Try the strawberry and young coconut... It's amazing! :)
Service - Meh, Food - Delicious. I can really only comment on the "$5.95 lunch special" as the only time I have ever been to Asia City is for lunch. However...the lunches that I have had at this short jaunt from the U of M's Fort Garry Campus are efficient. The portion sizes are more than reasonable and the food is served hot and fresh. It is somewhat confusing when you order food at the same time but it arrives with a noticeable gap between. This was explained to my colleague and I by the fact that there are different chefs for each Asian "culture" (for lack of a better term). I had ordered Vietnamese food and she had ordered Thai food, so two different people had prepared our meals.
That being said, the service is lacking. But the food (and value) at lunch, makes it all work out.

Little Gem. I really love the Pho here. In my opinion it is one of the best Pho. on top of that they have the best frozen bubble tea I have ever had. The taro with regular bubbles and popping mango bubbles is my all time favorite.
Great pad thai and inexpensive weekday lunch items.
A great lunch will make your day pretty! They always make me surprised from every orders. I have tried almost every dish, not all of them were to my liking, but most of them were. Highly recommended!
Have to say V15 is pretty good. And Bubble tea always the best. Perfect every time! Definitely recommended!
BTW Chinese special menu is surprise me.
The best Crab Rangoon in Winnipeg!! Rice noodle dishes also great!!! Great location fast service and nice workers!👍
Surprisingly authentic, delicious and a very big portion. Have to wait for a little while but the food is nice and hot. Would go there again.
Limited menu today as only one cook, but the lunch was flavourful and plentiful. Great food! Will come back to try the pho when I am able.
Sooooo nice restaurant. All dishes are over expectation. I totally understand they do not offer free rice with order anymore. Pay for the rice or cook the rice at home is not a big deal for me. It's not easy to find some good restaurants like Asia Palace: their food comes with reasonable price range, good quantity and nice quality. Their bubble tea is good either. :)
My friends and I had a perfect conversation here! Their special chinese food taste amazing(It's super spicy actually)👏, also their cripsy chicken even taste better than Jollibee ! ! Good job
