Excellent service, nice decor and great food!! The prices are very reasonable and very friendly staff!
Absolutely superb. I've visited lots of Sushi restaurants in and around winnipeg. Another favourite of mine is Usage Sushi on the corner of Lagimodiere and Regent.
The staff and food is excellent at both.
We went today at 5:00 P.M. and had a great meal and great service. The spider roll and the volcano were about the best we had in our life. Prices were a bit higher but you get what you pay for. Show and save coupon were honored giving this place very good bang for buck. Will be back. Also loved the croquette sampler.
Mr. Hitter's favourite sushi in the neighbourhood. Quality is consistently good, fish seems fresh. Favourites are the smoked salmon, dynamite rolls and Philadelphia roll among others. Service has always been prompt and it's usually a quiet relaxing environment during lunch. Recommended if you are in the St. James area.
The sushi was delicious. There was so much tuna in our spicy tuna rolls compared to what we usually get. The prices were reasonable as well. The service, however, was a disaster. It took about 10 minutes to get our drinks and I noticed it took the table behind us about 20 minutes to get their miso soup. That's nuts. They were really busy with take out and it was after 9 but I noticed the other reviews also mention service issues so it's not really an anomaly. I would definitely go back but I am cautious because of the questionable service.

Happy to say I returned for a second visit yesterday and the service was excellent. Decided to bump it up to 3.5
I love this place. Everything is just so fresh tasting. I would say it's a hidden gem. I eat in and a take out. Bamboo roll is the best there
The sushi is addictive but the last few times I've tried to order, they've been closed. The service is terrible if you are eating in. I'd recommend take out only, and hopefully they are open.
Probably one of my favorite sushi places in the St. James area. Quality is always really good, sometimes the service is a bit slow but overall really good.
Really good sushi, reasonable price. Service is usually very good and friendly. Sometimes, when they are busy there may be a little wait, the servers try their best to provide you with quick good service nonetheless.

I usually eat here once to twice a month, definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the entire city! I've never had a bad experience, the woman that works the front usually is an absolute joy and beyond lovely. The cooks never fail to give an absolutely amazing meal that is always consistent. And the price is phenomenal. Cannot possibly recommend this place enough

It's a little far out unless you live in the area but I definitely think it's worth the trip if you love sushi.
I have not been to Tokyo Sushi in 10+ years, but we have ordered take out and delivery many times in that time.

Staff were amazing, food was incredible, portions were more than generous, prices are incredibly low: if you're in the mood for sushi this is one of the best places in Winnipeg for it!

Sashimi is gorgeous, rolls beautifully presented, flavor combinations that make the mouth explode! And the atmosphere is super chill 👌
