Delivering love in the form of food, going an extra mile in terms of service.
I am an Indian residing in India. My younger brother has recently moved to MB CN, to a place where there is absolutely zero possibility for getting anything delivered to him. I had been trying to find out atleast 1 grocery store, or restaurant, or cafe, or any store for that matter who would help me send something to him on the special occasion of Raksha Bandhan (it is a festival in India that celebrates bonding of siblings). I took help from one of my friends who is residing in Toronto to find me atleast one place that could help me make my little brother feel special 1000 miles apart. But all in vain, until he spoke to Ashwini Kumar from this restaurant - our last hope. Not to miss, I was looking for something to be delivered on 3rd Aug, which was also a local holiday in some parts of the country. However, India Palace, did not only accept our order but also took efforts in helping us deliver my brother's favorite food at his doorstep, in person, which was nearly 25kms away from the restaurant, in the right time. Usually I am sure no other delivery apps would have accepted this request at all. I am very very thankful to Ashwini for going out of their way to provide such an exceptional service and being a part of making our Raksha Bandhan so precious. We will forever remember this. All the dishes that were delivered - Chola, Malai Kofta, Naan, Rice - were all authentic in taste as well, very delicious. A very rare thing to find in CN in terms of original Indian taste as told to me by my brother.

Had a takeout meal with friends and enjoyed everything. The Butter Chicken is outstanding, tender and flavourful. Paneer with peas and raita also great. Want to return to try more from the menu.
We just happened to be nearby and thought we'd try the place and we were not disappointed. They have an all-you-can-eat buffet during certain hours which is DEFINITELY worth the price. The à la carte prices are also good compared to other Indian places and, overall, the portions were good and everything was delicious.
The buffet could be a lot fresher, but it is a buffet at a small restaurant and I dont expect it to be the best. But the food off the menus that you can order specifically is amazing. The chicken curry is my personal favourite. Although the mild versions are a little bland the medium and hot versions on their beautifully cooked basmati rice will wow you. I also LOVE their samosas. Some of the best I've had and the sauce is perfectly sweet. All in all the service is also wonderful. The employees are friendly and nice and I would definitely recommend.
One of the rare instances where you get good value for incredible food. The pricing is super reasonable but you can still expect high quality dishes. The buffet looks small but has all you need. Absolutely delicious. A contender for best Indian food in Winnipeg.

Went here for the lunch buffet. The website said lunch was $10.99, but upon paying the bill, it was $15 (plus tip) which is the cost of the dinner buffet. I'm not sure if the dinner buffet is more like $17 now, or if they are both the same price - either way it is definitely not $10.99 for the lunch buffet.
I found the flavors to be lacking something. Everything from the butter chicken to the veggies just lacked flavor. Samosa was really dry. This would be a great place to take someone who has never tried Indian food because it's very toned down / westernized.
The one stand-out was the veggie korma + naan bread which they made fresh. I would have been happy with just a plate of those two. On a positive note, Indian food usually upsets my stomach (possibly a spice they use) and this didn't. If you want more food for your dollar, I would suggest East India Co. as they charge the same price for the lunch buffet and there is a much bigger selection. Not much to say about the service, our server was good but not exactly friendly. I wouldn't refuse to go back with friends, however if I had a choice I would pick another place for a lunch buffet.
Good food. The only issue I have is that after years of ordering from them I now get charged a $10 delivery fee as their limit is apparently 3.5KM when i live 3.6KM away from them. Also menu and website do not mention any fees for delivery, quite the contrary... it mentions they deliver on orders over $25. Other then the exorbitant delivery charge, the food is OK. maybe next time they can meet me down the street which should make it 3.5KM away from them.
Everything here is tasty, and the staff are quite friendly! The butter chicken is arguably the best in the city!

I go there more out of convenience than anything else.

Alright. Checked out India Palace this evening. Fairly good reviews online, tried the buffet. Wasn't a fan of the rice with chicken broth base. Butter chicken was good with full peices of chicken. Naan bread made fresh comes to the table hot. Over all a good experience worth a visit, but will check out another place next time.

Dine in was ok but not incredible. Food was less spicy than most Indian food I've had. Service was great. Take home samosas were amazing.
India palace is the best restaurant in downtown, and there chef’s is make a fresh everything, and everything is most delicious,please try there samosas and other delicious food, and clean and most qualified staff, and friendly behaviour service,when I’m going in downtown area,then I’m visiting the india place,they make delicious food and everything mind blowing,
I love BHATURA here, butter chicken was good but too spicy for me, next time I'll order mild. Food was good and not expensive, staff was friendly, I definitely will come again.
Amazing Food!!! A mistake was made with out order. We were able to get the last bag, to surprise us they gave us more. Very nice staff.
Yummy Butter Chicken! Nice chicken breast without bones in a creamy sauce. Veggie samosa's are also really delicious!
