Our food was delicious.They have a Great breakfast and lunch menu.The server was super friendly and was great with the food service.If anyone is looking for a good hangout place(family/friends) with delicious food,then I would highly recommend them Ben&Florentine!
This restaurant is amazing. Been twice now, first time with 4 people and this past time with two people, each trying a new dish, so thats 6 different breakfast items on their menu that we've tried an LOVED them all. The freshly squeezed juice is so good too! Our new favourite breakfast place for sure.
Was actually at the Regent location. Service and food was very good. The breakfast options include your usual type fare but also had choices that are âkickedâ up a notch. I will definitely try the one in River Heights next time.
Huge servings, always taste fresh. Only âcomplaintâ if you can call it that, is everything comes with fruit whether or not itâs listed to come with fruit! But absolutely delicious and filling every time weâve been there.
AMAZING BREAKFAST SPOT! So many delicious options. I have tried a few now and still look forward to going again. The Ruby Red smoothie is a must.

The food is amazing, and the menu is diverse (different than many breakfast places in the city). Downfalls are that the service is usually quite slow (whether they are busy or not), and they are only open certain times.
Breakfast was really good! I enjoyed the food. I had the new item, eggs with chorizo. my husband had buttermilk pancakes with his meal, but the pancakes weren't fluffy and weren't as good as expected. The potatoes were really good and well seasoned. service was slow and waited a while for our food and for our check.
Never had a bad meal. Always busy place. Donât go on a wkd for fast service.
They forgot about our meal one time waited over an hour patiently till we asked what was up, or it would have been a 5.

Have not been to B&F before, so we decided to try it out. Called ahead to ask if they are busy and they said they are not. I noted wanting a reservation for 10:15-10:30 and they took our name, phone #, and number of people. They said that they will have a table ready for us. We arrived at 10:20 and the server said we were not there at 10am so they gave up our table. We reminded them on our reservation and that it was clear on the phone, and they said no reservations after 10am. We came from the other side of the city so we said that was not acceptable. They came back and said they were ill get something shortly. There was a big lineup in waiting area and we waited only about 5 min. Phew!
All this aside, the service was great and the food was delicious. All of our meals were as expected or better and despite the rough start, we enjoyed our meal, flavours and portion sizes and relative value as well. it was nice to have spacious tables as well. I attached a few pics of our meals... yum. We will be back.
Honestly my favourite place for breakfast, they use to have a way bigger menu but they kept all the things I usually get anyways. Service is good, portions are larger and food is amazing
Ben and Florentine is an excellent place for brunch! They have excellent smoothies and a wide selection of healthy food! At my latest visit, we ordered the Apple and Cheddar CrĂȘpe (caramelized apples, cheddar, almonds, caramel and whipped cream) and the Avocado Lox (eggs, guacamole, smoked salmon, capers, red onions on a 12-grain bread with fruit).
We were very pleased with the healthy selection on the menu! The smoked salmon on the Avocado Lox was exceptionally fresh and the crepe was delicious.
This place is typically very busy especially over the weekends. However, it is quite well staffed so even if your server is too busy to serve you, there's always someone else who is more than happy to take care of your table. The servers are friendly and the service is much better at Ben and Florentine than at Cora's.
Overall, I would highly recommend Ben and Florentine!
A busy breakfast place , have some nice combos , I can understand the wait time will be more. They need more staff to handle the weekend rush , if two of us are on a table , one gets their breakfast 15 minutes before the other . Presentation was great , the server was hassled , but friendly, so we did not lose our cool. All in all a good place for breakfast , though, not a relaxing one. Will come back on a weekday.
My recommendation would be to try out the breakfast combos , thatâs value for money.
This place has variety of items on the menu that anyone with any taste can choose from. Their crepes are amazing. They melt in the mouth. Their Sausage and ham have good taste and quality. Nice and friendly staff. I will definitely go back and recommend this place to anyone whoâs into brunch! I absolutely love this place.
We want for early lunch, the service was great they seated us fast, the menu is beautiful and a lot of verity.
The cappuccino wasnât great, cold and very strong I asked for milk to make is better and they charged me for it.

No kidding. The amount of food you get while eating here, you never have to eat again for the rest of the day. Also itâs delicious. The only thing missing was the hot coffees cuz their coffee machine was out of order.
Little bit of a wait but the servers were quick to let us know they were training a new chef, so totally understandable. The service was good and the food was good. A couple pieces of fruit were a little questionable but overall I would go back again.
My first time visiting Ben & Florentine on Kenaston. The service was awesome, the breakfast options varied and delicious, spacious and clean environment and very good covid measures in place. The only thing I would have liked was if my coffee was served in a tea mug that was warm because hot coffee in a cold mug makes your coffee cold before two sips. Prices for breakfast items range between $12.95 to 17.95 approximately.
Incredible eggs benedict! They have many different options to choose from. Their hollandaise sauce is spot on. Their BBQ version is slightly spicy with with meaty toppings. I wasnât a huge fan of the goat cheese but it went well with the rest of the flavours. Their eggs Benedict also comes with a good portion of hash browns and fruit. I ordered a side of Crispy French Toast & Caramelized Apples which was very large. The topping was like apple pie filling with almonds. Very tasty⊠Their service great as well. Server was very attentive and polite. We also preferred a booth and appreciate how they made that happen. Will definitely be going back!
Great brunch place for the south end. Great service but I find the food comes out slow. This place is always busy!! They have everything you could want for breakfast and the atmosphere is excellent. Taste wise I think it's okay! The fruit smoothies here is excellent
