Decent take out place. My two favorites from this place are the Crispy Ginger Beef and the Shanghai Thick noodle. Pretty much get this every time I come here.

Great Dinner Experience. Went to China Garden on September 15th at 6:30 pm. Restaurant was busy but not packed, so we did not have to wait to be seated. This was my second time here. We were a party of 5, and opted for the Dinner For 6 option which includes: Won Ton Soup, Egg Rolls (6 of them), Lemon Chicken, Fried Rice, Shrimp and Cashew Dish, Chicken and Almond Dish, Ginger Beef and Chow Mein. This could easily feed 7 people as the portions are big. The soup was delicious- the broth was perfect as it was not too strong and was not salty at all. The Ginger Beef was amazing as it was just the right amount of spicy. A big favourite was the Lemon Chicken which was not overly battered, and the Shrimp and Cashew Dish which had huge shrimp pieces. Chow Mein and Fried Rice were very tasty, and the pieces of meat in the chow mein were generous. The only dish I would say that did not stand out was the Chicken and Almond dish, but it was still good. All of the dishes were delicious, and the ingredients were fresh and plentiful. Each dish had it's own unique taste/flavour. The service is very friendly and attentive. Our meals were served in a very reasonable amount of time (I believe after we ordered, the Won Ton Soup was out in under 8 minutes). There were a lot of leftovers which tasted great the next day as well. The only donwside is that when it is busy, it can get quite loud, but that too me is just a sign that people are having a good time. In conclusion, the dishes we were served were of high quality and delicious, the price was very resonable, the service was excellent and the dinner experience was enjoyed by all. I will be coming back here again.
AWESOME!. I loved it! The food is so fresh and you can tell it hasn't been sitting out under heat lamps. The lemon chicken is to DIE for! Huge portion of chicken! The spare ribs were delicious! The coating on the ribs was so yummy and not greasy or oily. I love this restaurant because they don't use alot of additives in their food and you can sure tell. The taste and the freshness is superb! I was super excited to learn that they deliver to my area too! (St Vital) Will definitely be coming back!
This place is absolutely amazing! Chicken balls were sooooo meaty unlike any other restaurant in the city, kung Pao chicken is great, ginger beef cannot even be compared to!!! The service is amazing. One of the servers lacks a little in English...but what else do you expect from a Chinese restaurant! All in all I give this place a 10 out of 10. Ps, try the hot and sour soup!
This place has some awesome dishes and the prices are very reasonable. I recommend the Cantonese chow mein, honey garlic veal, chicken balls. The service isn't the best.
Love it. Love the consume soup (free! All the noodle dishes. Love the pancake shrimp (I think it is called battered shrimp). Love the ginger beef. Usually good service. We bring our kids here (toddler/baby) at least once a month and feel welcome.
Great value for the money! generous portions of chicken in the chicken fried rice/ Honey garlic veal very tasty/ Delicious pan fried shrimp with onion and cashew nuts/ Crisp veggies and delicious sauces. Can easily feed a family at $10.00 each which would include fresh succulent shrimp,veal,Beef tenderloin and white chicken breast meat with pea pods.The fried rice is light and generously infused with plenty of white premium chicken.not spicy unless u want it that way./ can be ordered minus the MSG. Not too spicy,salty,or expensive. Good Find in the neighborhood!!!
Pretty solid place. You get what you expect everytime. Sweet and Sour Chicken and Shrimp are classics favorites done well. Every time I order from here it's hot, and fresh. Convenient location in the Fort Richmond area. The chicken balls are big and full of chicken, not just batter. Same with the Shrimp Balls. Solid place to order from.
Been a patron for over 15 years. They are consistent and food is very good. I can't say I have any favourites from there, but on the other hand, no regrettable dishes either. Good dependable chinese restaurant.
We got delivery from skip the dishes to the motel we stayed at. Portions are great, packaged perfect so nothing was spilled or crushed. Pricing was well worth the wait... That was not terrible but a bit long... Our hunger may have played into the wait... Will definitely be back again. Thank you for a great dinner.
