It's like a subway but for pizza. This place is fantastic. Polite and attentive service, affordable price and gluten free options at again, an affordable price. Customizable and quality food. You really get what you pay for. Plentiful seating, spacious and clean dining area.

EDIT - RIP REBEL PIZZA - my fiancee and I's favorite restaurant in the city. Unlimited toppings was YOUR thing. It was what set you apart from any other pizza place in WPG. Now you're just another Dominos.

Great prices and deals. Love that they have lots of sauce and cheese options. The pizza was so yummy. Had a nice crisp craist and the rebel cheese blend was amazing as well as the spicy pizza sauce.

Absolutely love this place, "Do It Yourself" pizza for $10.49 is unreal! The spicy sauce is out of this world and the staff are really friendly! Can't say anything bad about this place!

Great Staff to start. Toppings were fresh. We ordered 2 mediums and one was the taco pizza, it was great. Loosing a star for the crust, is just not for me. It was a little tough actually. All and all, good wood fired pizza.

The moment you walk in to this restaurant you know it's going to be good. There's a ton of seating and the seating area isn't jammed right beside the counter like other similar places. Rustic yet modern decor with lots of stainless steel. The pizza was excellent! We got the Sausage Party, Taco Fest and a Do It Your Way. The Taco Fest was my favorite as the seasoned taco meat was full of flavor! Service was top notch, with friendly, helpful staff! We will be back! My only recommendation is to improve the sign by McPhillips. The word "pizza" is in small letters in the black underline from the "R" in Rebel and it's hard to see from the street. If I didn't already know what the place was I wouldn't know to check it out just by seeing the sign. 😀

Order two pizzas for takeout. One gluten-free crust and one regular crust. While the toppings were tasty and fairly plentiful both pizzas lacked any real flavor. The regular crust had no texture at all, it wasn't crunchy, chewy, flaky crispy or anything really appealing. It was just there. The cheese on top was just melted but not browned which gave it a weird and very unpleasant texture and taste. The gluten-free crust we had high hopes for, after so many positive reviews saying it was the best gluten-free crust in the city. That may be the case as I've had only a handful of other gluten-free options, but somehow this crust managed to be both incredibly chewy and rock hard in places at the same time. As other people have pointed out in recent reviews - somehow they manage to have bland pizza. We've had far better pizza from the freezer section of our local grocery store.

The pizza is always, always, always awesome. We tried it first during Pizza Week and Rebel Pizza is now a favourite spot. Better and faster than fast food and made your way - the only thing better would be if I could have their pizza oven at home!

Just went here for the first time yesterday off a recommendation from a friend. Have to say I was presently surprised. The level of service was excellent and they handmake the pizza right in front of you, similar to a Subway. They use fresh ingredients and you can even watch your pizza heat in their giant fire oven. The pizza itself was absolutely amazing! One of the best, if not the best, I have ever eaten in my life! If you find yourself in the Garden City area I would highly suggest going to check them out. Trust me it is well worth your time :)

Happened to stumble across the grand opening today. Waited almost an hour in line for 4 pizzas (buy one get one free). Workers were really hustling and working very well together. Pizzas were very small...personal sized I would say. We got cheese and veggie pizzas. They were good, but nothing that stood out to be over the top different or spectacular compared to other fired pizzas in the city. Kids liked the cheese pizza. My boys 10 and 12 ate a whole pizza each because they were so small. I ate the whole veggie pizza. I would not have bought the pizzas if it weren't for the special buy one get one deal. Otherwise it would have come out to almost $40 for 4 personal sized pies. That is way too expensive in my opinion. I wish Rebel Pizza lots of luck and success. We probably won't be coming back unless there is another great deal.

I tried another combination of toppings tonight. Regular crust, Rebel classic sauce, crumbled bacon, salami, smoked ham, pepperoni, mushrooms, black olives, toasted garlic, tomatoes and two layers of mozzarella cheese. OMG!! what a great pizza. Thank you Rebel on McPhillips.

We went for the first time tonight and we will definitely go back. The crust is the best and the choice of toppings was a bit overwhelming. We were both very happy with our pizza and the different dipping sauces were great. My husband said he was tired of our usual pizza places so this was a good find for us, especially since it is in our neighborhood. Customer service was great and the managers were super friendly. As we were leaving we were both talking about what we would have the next time :)

I came in today and ordered 4 pizzas. My son ordered a pizza for himself today, the girl helping him put two topping on his pizza, then left for her break, my son wanted more toppings but she just shoved it in the oven without finishing his order. Not impressed at all, zero respect for my kid!!!!!!!!!!!! Also I had to drive back to return one pizza because part of Tom Selleck's mustache was on my Magnum P.i Pizza, however I received no compensation for me having to drive all the way back to return my hairy pizza, suggestion wear hairnets!!!. To top it off our stomachs were gurgling all afternoon after eating the pizza, something was no good in there, maybe too much oregano, that's all we could taste. Don't think we'll be coming back!!!!

Today we tried Rebel Pizza on McPhillips St for the 1st time. It was one of the best pizzas we ever had. The thin whole wheat crust and the toppings were delicious. We will definitely go there again.

Totally loved it! Pizza was gooood and customer service was even better! Waited a little longer cause they had to make another garlic bread pizza for us. We didn't mind and we weren't mad at all...but they still gave us dessert freebies! Sweet! We loved the desserts too btw, I especially loved the chocolate balls. Just hope to see them on the menu soon! My bf especially loved the cheese in the beginning and at the end! We'll be regulars for sure! :)

I think I made a mistake by ordering a pizza done "their" way as I thought that the toppings were kind of skimpy. I will try them again but will get it my way and ask for a lot more toppings. I liked the way that they put cheese, the toppings, then more cheese. Crust was good. Pizza was cooked perfect.

Sorry folks, it has been a while. Rebel pizza, by far, is one fantastic place to eat! I have tried their pizzas which are great. However, I am hooked on their calzones!! The garlic butter and parmesan cheese on top is delicious and of course, the fillings are always fresh and tasty. To top it off, the customer service is impeccable and second to none! I have started to make my way through their selection of fillings and I would strongly advise you to do the same!

Nothing special. The interior is nice, although all too similar to ZA pizza. However I had to dine with my jacket on as it was cold inside. The pizza was just alright. The topping selection is somewhat lame, and they were extremely skimpy with the cheese and toppings. They don’t offer dipping sauces like za pizza does, which prompts me to choose them over rebel, as they aren’t concerned about saving money on cheese. Probably won’t revisit.

Tried this place out a few weeks ago after being excited about the build your own pizza scene in Winnipeg. The place was empty at 5pm on a Thursday. Overall nice design and clean inside. Employees were friendly and the station was clean. All toppings were stocked and they have a nice variety. I ordered pizza with a lot of vegetables, bacon, chicken, pesto sauce, and cheese. Toppings were plentiful and piled high. Price is great. I dislike how the dipping sauces are not out to help yourself. I feel annoying having to ask and question what they have, etc. The pizza overall was great. Thin crust was kind of soggy on one side so I think it could have been cooked longer. WAY better than Pronto Pizza but still not as good as Za Pizza Bistro.

If you're in a super rush this place takes a little time as it is custom made, so if there are more than 3 people ahead of you it will take 15 mins or so to get yours done. I will say it is very good and worth the wait. Similar to ZA Pizza Bistro, but I would say better. One main difference that makes it better is they put a foundation of mozzarella, then your ingredients, followed by a blend of cheese on top of that that makes it really delicious. Like I say, it's not McDonald's fast, but you're getting a quality product for those extra few minutes.

I work down the street and have been there 3,4 times since opening! im kind of a pizza person...anyways i like this place because The ingredients are fresh. The staff is friendly. The set up is modern,clean and welcoming! & They build you a pizza in about 10 minutes flat. The only negative i would say is that they were cheap on the cheese!!! i even asked for double as i like it cheesy but , it still felt like more sauce than cheese. Besides that , i plan to go back sometime this month, ill ask for extra cheese and see how it goes again. If you guys at rebel read these comments, for the love of god, cheese makes the pizza.

Stopped in at Rebel Pizza on the way home ... built my custom za, hurried home with a HOT pizza. Couldn't wait to "smash that za". All I can say is ... WOW !!! As good as it looked coming outta the box, the taste was even better. Great spicy sauce, lotsa fresh toppings, quality cheeses .. the total package! Now the real test ... saved a couple slices for the cold pizza treat later. Definitely be back SOON !!!

Rebel Pizza has the exact same concept as Za Bistro; individual Pizza with unlimited toppings for $10.50. They also have the option for pizza off menu and breadsticks. Nice variety. I visited the restaurant at a perfect time which was shortly after lunch. There was no line or ridiculous wait time for the pizza which made me happy lol. This place was refreshing. First off, the set up is awesome. Lots of tables, chairs and space for you to wait for your pizza while it's cooking. The condiment bar and food counter was nice & tidy. And the workers were friendly and actually hard at work. My pizza was tasty and the quality of ingredients was great. You can't go wrong with a pizza you basically put together yourself. Only complaint I have is that I asked for my pizza to be cooked longer ("well done") but it seemed it be cooked regularly. I will be back!

Yum! Crust here is absolutely spectacular. Many unique toppings to choose from. Definitely will be back. Plenty more options than any other build it your pizza place, including a variety of breadsticks, salads, and desserts.
