So if you're anything like me then you like your coffee a little too much. I actually cannot function as a human without a decent coffee at least within the first 4 hours of my day. Don't even talk to me, I'm a zombie.
So herein lies a problem. If you're familiar with Melbourne you would know that we have the best coffee in the world!!!! I'm not even being biased. I've been to enough countries and enough restaurants and cafés to confirm this. So when I decided to make a move to Canada I knew things were about to get fury. I know the Americans have no idea what good coffee is. Their idea of coffee is an over cooked pot of instant goat shit poured in with 2 cups of sweetened cream and sugar on top OR Starbucks. So do Canadians feel the same?
Well apparently their equivalent of Starbucks is Tim Hortons... Which is ok for the first thing you buy when you come through the gates at the airport. But in no way is it a decent coffee. But here lies a little slice of happiness. I was taken to a little place called 'Little Sister' in Winnipeg and the coffee here is actually good! It tastes like home. This little hipster café in the village has warmed my soul with caffeinated goodness and I may carry on today with a human soul once again. 4.5/5
simply one of the great Village treats. A cozy and stylish coffee shop. Super friendly staff, wonderful brews and yummy treats from some of the cities best bakeries.
Dropped by this coffee shop on,
Sunday May 22-2022.
Had a cappuccino
This is a very nice coffee shop.
Nice place to meet up with friends for a quiet place to converse.
The personal were very polite and were able to answer my questions about the type of coffee beans.
This place is a hidden-gem
A cozy little cafe to hang out in snowy days. Nice staff and good coffee.
But as a pastry fan I had few choices.
Tasty lavender latte and a yummy breakfast muffin. Quick service and fresh!
Little sister is one of the better coffee joints in Winnipeg. Consistent, good options, and they often source good pastries to enjoy. They used to get different brands of coffee beans to buy and bring home but lately, since starting their own roastery, they only have their own beans which can lead to boring brews, still good, but boring. Good seating options at their locations but Osbourne can be tight.

Love the coffee, The golden child espresso is one of my favourite blends and when you order online it is always fresh and close to roast date. The merry maker holiday blend was also really good!
Great coffee. Small but usually places to sit and not too busy. Staff is very friendly and love the baked goods as well.
best coffee in the city by far; would be 5 stars if they didn’t use paper straws.
Just stopped here for the first time to get a coffee and a latte. In the heart of Osborne village. Staff were great and very friendly. It is very clean looking inside and comfortable. They have great coffee, as well as beer on tap and done. I didn't have the food but it looked very yummy. They serve both sweet and savory foods. The pie looked so good! I will definately go back when I am back in Winnipeg.
