The local Howard Johnson receptionist Dillon told us that the best restaurant in Lindsay was the Grand. It was a family restaurant that has been serving Lindsay's pop of about 21,000 people for over 45 years. It's on the main drag and easy to find. We had the homemade spaghetti with fresh garlic tomato sauce and French onion soup. Both were succulent

We stopped by to have lunch. Both food and service were excellent.

Our waitress was cheerful and attentive in a obvious busy evening, New Years. My father ordered Steak, he complained that is was quite tough and didn’t finish it. I looked at it and it was quite over done. He wasn’t a fan of his dessert commenting he had tasted better. For me, my meal was ok but I have never had a Greek salad undressed. I just thought it was unusual. I thought the price was reasonable but felt decor was tiresome and some updating was necessary.

Charlie and Amy catered our wedding in September and it was amazing. They were very accommodating with our requests for the cocktail hour, dinner and late night food options. They were great to communicate with and the prices were extremely reasonable. We had many comments on how delicious all of the food was. They were able to provide a vegetarian and gluten free option as well. Would definitely recommend their catering as well as the regular menu at the restaurant!

We ate on the family restaurant side rather than the pub. The food was really terrific. My friend had the burger and loved it and I had the bistro steak sandwich. My steak was cooked as requested and tender. Definitely try the cajun fries. They are a seasoned french fry and were good. Great value for our lunch!
